P365X is a great pistol, its usually my preferred EDC.

@@gearrunner I would have to agree, I have put a Faxon threaded barrel and Herrington Arms comp on mine it’s been a performance upgrade for sure, really has reduced recoil and muzzle rise. I like the 407k just a real budget friendly quality RDS. I would like to invest In a EPS carry eventually.

Yea, I haven’t found anything better. I do carry other pistols from time to time but this is my main one.
Great gun - don’t like the 532,000 different versions they pump out so I stay away and use a better gun - Walther PDP

I do enjoy the P365 but currently prefer the CR920 with a new trigger. I also mix and watch with the Glock 43X and 48's frames and slides.
I like all my sigs , especially my 365x, I am building a macro next.

I know I'm way behind but I see you got rid of the comp I need to get that slide though that slide looks really good the best holster I have found for my macro Pegasus DeSantis slim tuck oh my gosh you forget that you even have it on you you sit down with no issues but it don't have the extra mag carrier I have to carry it in my one of my pockets I have paid $134 for my macro holsters I got like six or seven holsters in a box LOL the one I just mentioned net cost at 3299 and it's literally the best holster I have found it may not be for everybody but thank you for this content I wish I would have found you sooner

@@gearrunner under these conditions doing my best. Been attending church for a few months now. It’s been good for me. On a good note about 14 church members on past Saturday we went out for breakfast bright and early and it was at the gun range near me. With breakfast we got free 30 min range time. Took my H&K45C and my G19 with its new red dot optical for the first time. Was great fellowship, good breakfast with good conversation with like minded members and finally fun time shooting both guns. We’re trying to set up training session for church members whom wish to carry during church services.
Well anyways the worlds going crazy and here trying with good results to remain sane……I hope you and your family are well. Happy Belated Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas coming up…..👍✌🏼

Word to the wise if you can try someone else's first the other models were bigger than the factory grip the X macro is not bigger. it's just round.

I will stick with my standard P365 in a Kusiak leather signature minimalist IWB holster and two spare mags in a pocket. I don't need all that aftermarket parts and stuff. Less is more and I prefer the gun and its holster to be less bulky and less snaggy. Therefore easier to conceal, access, and its more comfortable.
For $660 you can get a X Macro, three mags, WC XL grip, and you now have two guns: a full size, and a subcompact, both are thin, both are comfortable to shoot, both are easy to make into any other 365
Where are you finding the macro for that price?
@@alwayscurious2376 well that's a little dishonest, because that was he blue label price at my gun store, unfortunately. That said, I'd probably recommend the tac-ops or whatever other 3.7 in barrel Macro available, if you can save money there. IMO the comp isn't worth it

I prefer ultimate reliability and a slightly larger grip for combat. A gun with night sights and a slick top. No need for an optic. Glock 43X for the win,
I used to run only irons but after training with an optic it’s like cheat codes for shooting. Thats why military and law enforcement units are going to optic pistols.
People said the same thing about red dots on rifles. Get with the times dude, red dots with training have a massive advantage over irons… BTW, the P365 series already won…
@@thegreenberetlife0191 I carry a gun professionally. I have an RMR and took it off of my duty weapon (Glock 17 Gen5 MOS). I dont care for itt… no let me rephrase that…. I dont like it at all.
As far as brand go, the polymer Sig (any model) “might” work when you need it most, but the Glock will ALWAYS go (((BANG))) every time you pull that trigger. If you’re all caught up with “round count,” then my Glock 26 beats a P365 all around.
Instead, why don’t you learn to reload faster and don’t get all caught up with micro 9’s with heavier double stack magazines (that cost twice as much as a Glock’s by the way).
I’m also not seeing any viable nor note worthy police shooting videos that prove during moving gun fights, that a dot gives any real advantage. My fellow cops are still missing even with a dot installed on the weapon. Go figure, eh?

It's my EDC of choice. My rotation consists of 3 different pistols but this is by far my favorite and most trusted. Great job Brother!

I use to carry a G19 with trijicon HD sights, I put that away and now carry a sig x macro with a holosun. It's lighter, thinner, reliable, and more capacity.
I couldn’t agree more… I’m carrying a P365 myself. XMacro grip module, PMM comp, Holosun EPS carry, TLR7 Sub, Mcarbo trigger.
That is a sweet setup
Owned mine for almost 2 years. Added Wilson weights to mine. New thumbrest from Antimatter to use with TLR7 for Wilson coming next month or so. Don't forget Magguts.

Only reason I went with that slide was it was already cut for my Holosun
You hooked up that pistol nice!! I have the 365x with a zev barrel the TLR 7, and I'm looking for a good owb. Can't find something compatible with that setup. Any suggestions? Good vid Andy.

Im digging it bro! More than a few times ive wanted to upgrade to the comp'd macro slide and macro frame but i hate thinking about adding bulk to my subcompact. You're making me want to even go down to the TLR6 now!
I don’t know how any micro compact could be considered the best EDC ever. I know the saying is when you are carrying it there is no such thing as too small and when you are fighting with it there is no such thing as big enough….i prefer to prepare for the latter of the 2 and carry full size
I’ve found that with most people if it’s not comfortable to carry they won’t a lot of the time. So I go for comfort and decent round capacity

I turn tritium on both
I wish we could carry standard capacity magazines here in Hawai’i as we are limited to 10 rounds.

Imo the tlr7 sub looks better than the tlr6 on this particular pistol lol that's just me. Still looks good either way.
You mentioned you didn't like the color of your trigger. Find a rubber sleeve to slide over trigger, like from a ball point pen. If you look around you will find one that fits good. Or maybe an electrical heat shrink tubing ?
Nice pistol! My carry rotation is Sig P938 Legion 7 round mags, Beretta 92x RDO Compact, 15 round mags. I am thinking about a P365XL. Good video, Merry Christmas!
I agree with you. I also like 365 the best for CCW. Only I use mag gut springs in my 12 round mags. This set up gives me 14 round in 12 round mag . 15 rounds in a small package is hard to beat. Also I carry 17 round mag as a backup. This set up is in the 365X model. Also mag gut springs are made for the standard 10 round mags in the first smaller frame P365 model. That gives you 12 plus 1. Can't beat it in my opinion. Also these mags with these mag gut springs have proven to be reliable for me.
Andy where did you get your hat from?
I have the Zev barrel and haven’t gotten any weird wear spots at all yet and have about a 1,000 rounds through it.
Another good vid from you. Helpful info on the wear on the bottom on both sides of the barrel you were talking about. this is something you look for in accurate guns such as bull barrel 1911 and 2911's. It tells you that the barrel is locking up more firmly which caused the barrel to ride on the undersides of the barrel. this is a mark of a better fitted barrel and desirable and will be more accurate whereas most modern striker fired guns are much more sloppy and don't show this wear. Typical, but not a good thing for best accuracy.

I think I've had 4 different variations of the P365. They all shot fine and I never had any problems with them, but I got rid of all of them. I just learned that I could not conceal something so small in the appendix position as well as a full size gun. The slides are just too short and the tend to topple over....they are uncomfortable and print too much due to the keel effect. I really wanted to make them work, but just couldn't do it.
That sucks because mine just melts away in my waist and I forget it’s there sometimes.
Sigs are trash
I’ve only had one or 2 malfunctions out of all my sigs. I’ve had more than that in my Glocks and I shoot more rounds through Sigs. 🤷🏻♂️
