But then, there exists equally fascinating, mysterious paradoxes, which stimulate our intellectual brain to overstretch it's imagination and thus its knowledge. Grandfather's paradox, fermi's paradox are some of the common one's. Hey, Gaurav I am A Science Student And I Think I have a Fair Solution of Russell's Paradox Which as Follows : Technically The Answer is Yes , The Set S is a Member Of Itself Becoz It Doesn't Matter Whether It Is Set Of Different Elements (Things) Or It is the Set Of Similar (Relational) Elements or things , The Set S Which We Assumed Will Always be Member of itself As It is Representing The Same Set. For Example : Set A = {Turtle, Dog, Sparrow, Horse ,etc}, Here We Can See That Set A is a Member of itself As it is representing the different Animals Contained In a Same Set. Now Set B={1,2,3,4,5,6,7,etc} In Set B We Can See A Relation Among this Set if we add +1 to each elent it's preceding Elements will be Changed Accordingly So , Here Set B is also A member of itself As it is part of this Set. I have thought about Zenos paradox by myself too many times during childhood, but never knew there was a whole paradox already on that!
I can make a guess in the first paradox....I am a PCB student and we've been taught that neurons(nerve cells) do not have centrosome, the cell organelle which helps in cell division......Thus these neurons, which make our brain, have lost the ability to divide and thus are never replaced....So we don't experience or feel any change in our personality or body because the organ that's the thinker doesn't even change or detect any change

Zeno is right . Actually, the scientists want to prove it to be the smallest for better calculation . But , in real both the smallest and the largest distance cannot be calculated , because both of them can be infinite. In Zeno's situation he want to express about the smaller units of time . But in real a person can travel 1 km or any other unit in "x" time . Try to see the distance and time in same vision . Then , your dilemma will be clear . Hope understood!!!!!

Hi Gaurav I think if S = 4 so , 4 is member of itself because it is just a concept which gives us totally new extensions like quadrilateral, cuboid , 4 dogs . ( which are not members of each other) . Without 4 these concepts are nothing so they directly may not be a member of themselves but are indirectly ( because they come from the same concept).
But on the other hand 4 is also not a member of itself because it is a member of itself which means it's extensions are not members of themselves. I hope I calculated right.

In the first question ship B will be the real one and ship A will be the new one as it consists of totally new parts and the ship consists the parts of it self but in the case human we are living beings our cells are replacing by our cells so we remain the same no matter how many cells got replaced
