I got injured 6+years ago from a skip loader flipped and landed between my shoulder blades here in so cal and I love watching equipment videos are yours are truly the best man I wish I could be out there I miss it so bad I have no foot movement so no gas but I can use the shit out of my hands controls only so excavators and such are my cup of tea now when I get in one
Wow I ran scrapers for Jimmy in the eightes in 1979 Roger Gilliam told Van actually Allen Van Mensal another boss for Bob Fulton we had 4millon to move with 8 57s Jimmy Jenkins moved 2-5 million in 55 days an engineer for Stanley told me it.was a World record
We use to run the smaller 637C/E scrapers down here in New Zealand back in 1990 - 2008, push loading them with a D9L Tractor, use avg a load every 20 sec, just use 627E/F/K's now, the boys love a fleet of 657/651's, unfortunately they wouldn't go far in our soft soil conditions
That old mud is a challenge it's the best education you figure it out you can move dirt that others wouldn't attempt they get the backhoe or dragline move it with scrapers the frustrating activity get stuck get pulled after the job is over you can say we did it horrah
Interesting, when I was on 631. Single d10 pushing 10-15 seconds to load otherwise the the dozer backed off and leaves you there. Tighter material then this. Double d10 seems a waste of resources.
I was an Owner/Operator in Local 12 for over 30 years operating dual slopeboard finish dozers. I worked with Sukut Construction for over 10 years until I retired in 2008. I have been flying drones for over 6 years and I currently fly a Mavic 2 Pro. My father was also a slopeboard hand for Sukut for many many years and he was a very good friend of Tim Smith. If you ever need a second drone pilot on a video shoot I'd enjoy going with you sometime. My name is Kent Elliott and you can contact me at sales@canyonrunvideos.com.
You guys have talent in 1979 at San Marcos I saw a guy with a two slope board 450 JD maybe he was your dad . finishing on a golf course job for BOB Fulton
These guys are pros scrapers never stop and the dozers look like they are joined
I would have never thought u could load 48 yards in 6 seconds lol amazing

I wish you the best man. Sorry that you got 🤕
All the workers working in such good synchronized rhythm and the dozer operators are on the ball
That’s the first time I’ve seen two dozers pushing one scrapper. Pretty cool to see. Awesome video. Love the drone shots.
Those 651s are huge
@@johnmclaurinmclaurin924 you can see the fill rise
The push dozer guys are tight!
Their Technic and style will never be admonished
Its incredible how fast those scrapers get loaded.!
Double pushing helps!
That dirt isn't supposed to be there
It's as if these machines are dancing with each other.
When you need to move a mountain you call Cat 🐈😺
Good evening , thank you for another super video, the operator' s on the open cab push tractors don't get much rest ! Take care 👍😎🇬🇧.
Operators and engineers local at work. Hooray
those push cat hands hardly catch a break
I never seen it done better
Ideal scraper dirt, no rocks and load downhill
Used to push these with a D10T dozer.
Super video dude. Could watch it all day. Not sure why someone would give it the thumbs down??
Those that hate to see people working.
Construction Machines Channel
Tree hugging libtards.
I did construction site surveying and I used to love to watch them work
I used to operate 653's with 2 D11 push cats. When I was 17 years old. With Jimmy Jenkins and Scott scarbourogh

If you ain't wrapped tight enough chances are on a Jimmy job your car might not be cooked
How did you get the best boss so young
You worget a
After you get to Jimmy there isn't a better anybody
Nice Video !
Scrapers are the fast way to move earth
spinning them tracks
skillz!
nice
Ah scraping we will go.
With gals on our mind
Wow that is so cool to see. Hard packed soil? Under a "time constraint" to get that slope/hill cut?
When you drive look at every slope these guys changed the appearance
I've always wanted to learn how to drive a scraper
You Operate a Scrapper, more levers than wheels!
Driving is something your new girlfriend might not be used to
Looks like bena landfill
I'd like to know what the front dozer guys hand signals mean
😀😀😉

Did you GoPro?
Great video! I'm very new to the industry, what's the difference between the D10N & the D10T?
A N is older
10 N has 520 hp, 10 T has 580 hp. 10N has 3412 engine, 10t has C27 engine, both are V 12s, + 10T has more weight + many more cosmetic improvements.
Looks like dry compacted clay they are cutting.
The ones I seen at the coal mine they pushed each other

Agreed, seems like a waste of one of the dozers. One part of the video the scraper wasn't pulling as if it were in neutral being pushed.
Bob Fulton put a 9 L behind 10 N that's all you needed 9s are more responsive
48 yards per second
You are expected to load in so many seconds other wise they back off you make up your mind
whats the combined HP of those push cats?
never mind, I got it, 700 & 580= 1280hp
Why use 2 Dodgers to load scrapers
Faster to load the scraper and gets a bigger load packed in the bowl, over 1000 HP with 2 dozers, D11 is only 850
Nice
A651 is a huge scraper
@@Gavin84w load time keeps these contractors competitive
Because 4 Yankees weren't available
1 thumbs down......h,mmm and you are here why???

Did your dad know J o Reid that finished for Fulton
Tim Matthews was exceptional with a board I seen that
I wonder how much dirt these guys were moving in a day?
