A company is considering purchasing factory equipment that costs $400000 and is estimated to have no salvage value at the end of its 5-year useful life. If the equipment is purchased, annual revenues are expected to be $158000 and annual operating expenses exclusive of depreciation expense are expected to be $21000. The straight-line method of depreciation would be used. If the equipment is purchased, the annual rate of return expected on this equipment is 34.25% 28.50% 6.85% 39.50% can you plz solve this question?
Well, It should work......... sometimes it shows 'can't be solved' kind of notification if the calculator has the problem in its programming function........... Please u try it again. Generally it takes about 10 to 15 second in many calculators to show the result. In this video I am using computer version of calculator, for this reason I am getting the result instantaneously. so wait for some moments for the result........... if it shows the same problem then I request u to try it with another calculator of same model..... So that you can understand whether your calculator has a problem or not.......... there is no doubt that this method works in this calculator...... you can also watch this video done in calculator..... ua-cam.com/video/0UhIhqOraaE/v-deo.html thank u......
@@midhashahzad1500 I think I did not understand your question properly..... what do you mean by values??? do you mean cashflows ??? .......... this calculator can process maximum 99 characters (including digits, signs, brackets etc) at a time which is a biggest limitation.......this is one of the reasons behind updating this video........ this video will provide you some technique to overcome this problem.....so, watch the full video..... But I don't think that it will help you to solve very long equation containing 15/20 cashflows........... in exam hall, they will not give you very long equation, so I think it will help you for your exam............ for professional purpose use excel for irr calculation.......... thank you............
