I've had my problems with this line because of now difficult they were to get at first. But I can't deny how awesome it is. It feels like each new figure is the best one they've ever done. I think Verne is the most surprising because that figure is way better then it has a right to be. Tokka, Rahza, and the Neutrinos look awesome. I can't wait to see what else is coming in 2022.
You talking about Burne? Yeah, I thought their name was Vern, like Vernon being called Vern, yet their boss is also named Vern, so confusing lol. I was literally the only one that tried to get that set the moment it went up, but after 10 minutes it said sold out. No one mentioned/didn't think that you can go back and pick another size shirt and you'll be able to get it. Luckily someone I know in one of the groups hooked me up with their extra set. And when I opened the flap, my eyes were immediately drawn to that angry little fat man. Like I could've cared less about getting a generic figure like that, but boy was I ridiculously surprised with how damn awesome it is.
@@Chalor. I was talking about Vernon. I couldn't fit that Channel 6 set into my budget this year sadly. Hoping they release Burne and Irma elsewhere. I want that angry little fat man on my shelf.
@@dbeane43 Oh okay. Haha, yeah, dude's a hilarious lookin' figure. I think it was Trevor from NECA that mentioned not too long ago they'll be doing a Burne & Irma 2-pack. Who knows if it'll happen next year, but it should release then. It's not like they'd be much of a difference other than a few more new accessories/heads. Just something different enough to get me to buy those damn figures a second time lol.
My favorite You Tube Channel discussing my favorite toy line! Love, love, love! Dirtbag and Groundchuck were incredible. I’d ague it’s the best 2 pack in the line.
Wow, this really is amazing. I’m REALLY hoping NECA does a TMNT 2003 line that goes as in depth as this line does. Like seriously, there are 0 figures based on that TMNT series aimed for collectors
This line was out of my price range and I have alot of scalpers in my area and would not see them on the shelves. I loved the TMNT growing up I was born in 1984. I am currently buying the MOTU Origins and have been playing with them with my 3 year old daughter and loving it!
Wow, that's awesome! I'm guessing it was that super long pre-order wait from NECA. I only ever found two in store, but that was only cause I had employees looking out for me. But that was the only store around me that got any, which was just three. Then you see posts of pegwarming Krang's, alongside the Splinter sets. I'm just really grateful things have been so consistent with heavy distribution....plus those quick turnaround new figure pre-orders that started happening not too long ago.
these are sick!!!!! love them! im about to go crazy on these finally! also the 2012 viacom playmates stuff is pretty affordable out of the package and a great line. i am gonna complete the 10-11' line of the turtles and start buying the regular line of those.
To round off my collection for 2021 I need -Tricaton Infantry x2 -The punk Frog Brothers -Chrome dome -Casey Jones -April O'neil. A good bit of those came out before '21, but I think I know what you mean. My heart genuinely goes out to everyone that hasn't been collecting them from the beginning all the way back in 2017. Trying to play catch up with this line is almost as rough as the ppl that started late with the DC Collectibles Batman animated line. Sendin' positive energy your way with getting all those at non extravagant prices.
@@wesleysteeleiv Yeah, most ppl don't watch the Trevor Zammit interviews with the Fwoosh. I think it was about half a year ago when Trevor said the Party Wagon has been digitally sculpted for a while. I bet it'll get revealed at Toy Fair. Hopefully no more than that 3rd party version that recently went up, where the price was changed from $150 to almost $300.
@@joshco81 Trying to think of what a Mutant Module is. Guessin' that's the big drill lookin' vehicle. Yeah, besides the van and blimp, that's the #3 most important vehicle to make. And if we can start getting toon accessory packs, that'd be awesome. Like one could come with a Cheapskate. Then you got that jet ski thing the Foot used. Man, so many freakin' possibilities with small vehicles alone.
Love this line. My only problem is I'm out of display room. Really excited to see if they end up making a Party Wagon & see how it compares to the Super7 one.
I started to collecting figures again this year after a 20 year hiatus. I was super late to the game with these animated TMNT figures to the point were getting the actual turtles seemed impossible without breaking the bank. I’m hoping that NECA will start to re-release all of these figures down the road. I’d love to hop on this line but alas, I’m going to have to wait.
I always connected more with the toys than the cartoon, so I do prefer Super7's line overall, but NECA really stepped it up this year on the cartoon line! I've been really impressed with all the new tooling, improved joints and better distribution! Their parts reuse always bummed me out in the past, particularly on Slash, who I think looks too scrawny and should have had a new body sculpt. It's encouraging to see them do the characters more justice now!
Luckily Slash was the only figure that used any reuse where it didn't quite work. Like they could tweak Tokka and eventually give us a more accurate looking Slash. I was at a prime age of 8 when the figures originally came out...they were my last line of 'playing with' toys before I started collecting. So even though I have that super strong connection to the Playmates style, it's all about cartoon accuracy, even when it's characters that appeared on the show long after I stopped watching. Certainly doesn't mean I don't buy the Super7 ones. I just unfortunately have to be nitpicky considering how much more expensive they are. So satisfying with finally completing the brothers, and got Mondo on the way. I even love their ReAction figures, but those stay right in the packages lol...on the wall.
@@Chalor. Yeah, totally! That's the first thing I thought when they unveiled the cartoon Tokka--they should totally re-do Slash with that body. :) And yeah, the reuse hasn't been awful, but it does make me appreciate Super7's line even more, that each figure (aside from the turtles, of course) are totally new sculpts. But I guess you can get away with it more for the cartoon line, since the bodily proportions were more similar from character to character. But man, I'm dying for Super7's Slash figure next year! I've been waiting for that one forever! It's the Slash figure I've always wanted--the original design, but bigger and meaner!
We got tons of these in Arkansas at every Target for some reason they are not selling out here I really enjoyed looking at the neca line I only collect the vintage myself
Besides _all_ the different lines going on from NECA, the closest would be the Mafex/Super7 stuff. But considering there's only a handful of releases a year (and so expensive), it really doesn't hold a candle to the Turtles line, much less any other random NECA line. The deep cut accessories and animated paint on these elevate 'em to epic proportions.
I've got almost all of these except the cartoon Tokka and Rahzar and the condition of the collection is almost a 9.8 grade. I'm collecting these for my 3 year old son so he can have something to sell when he reaches 25. I'm hoping these will hold their value and do you think these will be sought after by collectors
The truth is that good video, with this list I will be able to write down well, which ones I am getting, for now, have Slash & Learthead, Metal Head Neca Cartoon, because I am with the Super Seven line, and vehicles from tmnt vintage playmates say hello 👏🏻🇦🇷

But sucks that his slime turned watery right away. Anyone else noticed too that when shredder built chromedome. I Noticed chromedomes head looked like shredders.
18:43 Oh god, just imagine if Playmates became the new Playmates 😬. Like after the first wave or two, they ceased and desisted NECA from making any more. We'd have a whopping one brand new character with the Triceraton. We'd just have to admire those original 7 figures and imagine _"...what if?"_ What a literal nightmare of a thought. Knowing there's other realities out there where that happened. Take pity on those alternate reality versions of ourselves.
I was wondering about that since more than a few on the list aren't from this year. But I just figured the 2021 in the title isn't meant to be taken literally like all of these figures came out this year. Like just saying that the best figures from this year are the toon Turtles line.
I would think Neca is one of the overall best manufacturers in the biz. But there's s h figurarts. Undoubtedly consistently the place all the other johnny come lately companies barrowed from.👍

Yes, the neca teenage mutant ninja turtles 🐢 line was a great looking line if only they could have made enough to satisfy the demand i only ever saw them in store once, that's sad 😥
Why can't Hasbro release this many new sculpts for a line. I wonder how many units sell for NECA compared to Hasbro and Hasbro keeps reusing the same Parts over and over and every one of these guys look brand-new and they may never be used again.
That's something, so you're not an army builder either. Rare thing to hear these days. I've always preferred spending money on brand new figures instead of buying redundant ones. Plus, it just takes away the uniqueness when you have multiples. But just like you, I became an unintentional Foot army builder. Originally wasn't a fan of getting two in the SDCC 8-pack, but I'm okay with it now. I like the whole split down the middle Foot that Trevor mentioned will get wedged in next year.
I’ll agree that starting off they were hard to find. But with online target listings, and now NECA taking preorders, they are readily available and whole heck of a lot easier to grab now.
Sorry man, NECA quality is terrible. I had most of this line and ended up selling it off as so many figures broke or had joints that just wouldn't move even after heating. Super 7 destroys this completely. Their quality is so much better and their figures are painted well without exp painted joints or flaking the way NECA TMNT does.
