My dog loves this game! We call it "find it". Sometimes we hide the treats around the house, in a snuffle mat it in a box filled with toys. We have her wait patiently until she is released then she's so excited to find her treats and/or kibble!

I went and got a pool today and did this and my golden doodle pups had the most fun with it. They spent forever looking for the treats and kibble in the pool. They are worn out now! I threw in some ball pit balls too, as they don’t tear toys up and I don’t have enough toys for the pool yet (my last 2 dogs didn’t like toys at all). What a great idea and it cost me $26. We will be doing this often for sure!!
So, colored toys in the mouth, can be a bad thing, regarding toxins absorbed thru mouth. Do you have a resource for naturally dyed or not died tennis ball or smaller for fetching???

You can try today in your living room! Technically you don’t need a pool. I sometimes hide treats under toys without a pool

Hi Rachel love the game…. My GSD puppy and older Jack had fun! I have a question about the yak bones. I purchased them. Is it safe to give to my 3 1/2 month old GSD, he is an aggressive chewer, and would love something other than myself to give to him to naw on. Thanks!
My pup spaniel has yak chews. They take a lot of wear and tear and take a good few days to be completely eaten. I do take the last inch away from her though and dispose of it as it is so tough that I’m not happy seeing her throwing this around her mouth trying to chew on it and I worry she’ll choke. I also always supervise her with it.

i had to make a decision today not to pick up my mini poodle puppy from the breeder. you make it sound like too much work to train your puppy that i was overwhelm . just wish i could just have a puppy to love and not be so complicated.
Aww . . . think of getting a puppy like having a baby. Sometimes babies are planned and sometimes they're not, but if you're not ready be cautious not to have one.
