Olympics posting about pune!!! Amcha Maharashta!!!🔥🔥
I have to admit. India is one big powerhouse of badminton. In fact, other former British colonies including Malaysia and Singapore are badminton powerhouses. I realized that various South Asian and Far Eastern countries who are LHT are interested in badminton for many years. Other than India, Malaysia and Singapore, that also includes Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan.
@@CrystalClearWith8BE you forgot to mention the undisputed king of badminton...china
@@tjh12336, but China is RHT, except for Hong Kong and Macau which are both LHT. Speaking of Hong Kong, they are interested in badminton as well. As for Macau, I guess not quite.
Facing Big Three of Asia's Badminton scene such as China , Japan and South Korea , Its about Welcome to Sweating Profusely Scenario
@@shanicestella2226, the Big Three of Badminton in Asia are all in East Asia. Taiwan, an island country with its Chinese Taipei is also interested in badminton, so why is it kept off the Big 3?
@@CrystalClearWith8BE Sorry I forget , so it’s properly to be called the Top 4
Most of the Indians do not know this 😅

This is the reference from encyclopedia Brittanica that Wikipedia also repeats: BATTLEDORE AND SHUTTLECOCK, a game played by two persons with small rackets, called battledores, made of parchment or rows of gut stretched across wooden frames, and shuttlecocks, made of a base of some light material, like cork, with trimmed feathers fixed round the top. The object of the players is to bat the shuttlecock from one to the other as many times as possible without allowing it to fall to the ground. There are Greek drawings extant representing a game almost identical with battledore and shuttlecock, and it has been popular in China, Japan, India and Siam for at least 2000 years. In Europe it has been played by children for centuries. A further development is Badminton.
As a punekar i didnt knew it😅😅😅
what about google and wiki says that the roots of the sport can be traced to ancient India, Greece and China from about 2000 years ago, popularised by British during 19th century?
Cool
Love it!!!!!
Amazing !
I think it is not true ... there used to be a similer sport called battledore and shuttlecock in ancient greece and egypt ...it is the ancestor of modarn badminton not india or British
we are talking about mordern badminton, well yeah greece and egypt have the similar types but if you ask someone where mordern badminton was created then it is british india

Well, if british is involved in something historical then there is more chance of indians not knowing their own game. I don't need to say the cause.
Lol badminton from Indonesia
Just because they're one of the best at it doesn't mean they invented it. India didn't invent cricket :)
India should dissolve all sports including ministry of sports only waste of time and money. create ministry of cricket only😮 1.4 b can play cricket 😅😅😅
That's what I really want 💌
@@abadepill816 yet loose badly to 26m populas OZ infront of 120000 home spectator even after pitch doctoring
Stupid game with zero competition apart from 3-4 countries🤡🤡🤡
😂
what a mentality this guy have☠☠
India only can sent 100 athletes to Olympic 😅😅 from 1.4 b pple looks wonderful ministry of sports need to be dissolve immediately
It is because of the ministry of sports that the number of athletes have doubled in the last few years, and the brilliant performance in the Paralympics. The atheletes said this themselves. The problem is the lack of a sports culture wihtin the people at school level wihtout which however kuch the govt wants, we won't be able to hone athletes
bro is saying to dissolve the whole ministry☠, are you out of your mind or what, the main problem is sporting culture in our country
No foking Way india invented Badminton
But your mom invented onlyfans
😅still lot of things people don't know about india.... it's just tip of an iceberg
