Signs are sudden gauge dropping 0 Test is, when gauge drops or reads “low”, run the heater, full blast, rear also. If air comes out hot, thermostat isn’t stuck open. Sensor is reading incorrectly. Air comes out Luke warm at best? Try the thermostat.
@@MatthewOrtiz-wg7tv those are 2 separate systems. The out temp is measured by a sensor located behind the front bumper while the coolant temp sensor is located on the engine measuring inside (drivers side near front side exhaust manifold) You might have a dirty sensor or defective.
My 2017 dodge journey sxt outside gauge is showing hotter than what it is.? My cold and hot gauge is in the middle normal but my temperature for outside is hotter than what it really is
Hello im having a problem with my 2017 3.6 journey The temperature for coolant and oil have both been going up at the same time almost to the point of overheating. Iv done the thermostat not long ago as well as the oil cooler housing since it cracked. It does run really bogged down and doesn’t want to pick up speed Thank you for any help
@ I did seem to find something. I blead any air out of the coolant system with a kit and I also have changed the second coolant temp sensor the one that connects to the block and the one on the oil cooler housing. That seemed to do the trick for me it was just giving bad readings and causing it to act up
My 2013 grand caravan , on idle and the ac on the fan wont start,. The fan otherwise function propperly. Y jumped k11 to force fan to be direct and the air condition work perfecr on idle. Any idea whats bad?

Ok , where is your video on how to replace the coolant sensor 🤔
You guys rock. Makes it easy to keep the wife's car running
Would it be located in the same place on a 3.5 V6 engine?
Love your channel! And your accent!! 😂
Where’s the video of the replacement of the sensor?
There isn't one not from what I can see
Love your videos
Thank you for making this video. It helped me out today. Mine had a cover on it and I couldn’t see it. Thank you.
Thank you for all the videos. I like my 2013 Dodge Journey.
How do we know the problem is not the thermostat instead of the sensor? or vice versa

Why do you have to drain the coolant if the sensor is on top
Awesome!!!!
What is the part number of the sensor
5149077AB
I have looked all over the spot you're showing and there is no sensor there.
It's there. Some of the 3.6s have parts that block your veiw. You can't see it on a 2017 chrysler pacifica but its there.
