This moving block system is called CBTC (Communication Based Train Controlled) System as this is being used in the NEL, CCL, The Tuas New Extension and the New DTL line... as for the NSL and EWL is a running revenue during the day and the system unable to be tested fully the system where the software is not stable yet unlike the other MRT Line.
Of all metro lines in the world, u choose to learn/copy from London/Taipei, why not from the best and most envied metro system in the world, Hong Kong’s MTR. Older, longer and has a higher ridership than Singapore’s MRT and just refuses to ever breakdown.
Shawn Peh yeah i know, but the highlight is CBTC. SMRT mention taipei and london for their CBTC implementation, not for their best system. Not even single mention demotes MTR as bad system

How bout operating your trains at close to it's max speed so that we reach our destination faster too?
Wads the diff then ," how bout less trains running at higher speeds reaching more stations and destination ?"
If there is more trains, the trains can’t go as fast.

Shawn Peh does MTR already implements CBTC? SMRT took example of MRT which has used CBTC, not the best.
SesamaLho but Hong Kong’s MTR just works. A system that works is always better than a system that keeps on breaking down.

London had major issues installing the first TBTC system on the Jubilee line.
@@youcanpunchmeintheface MTR is already starting to implement CBTC on the urban lines and the East Rail Line
Londonist says london will have CBTC by 2022
