Love your wide angle lens and of course the 3D aerial view of the location. Wow, talk about scars and hard work of a dedicated hawker, preparing the claypot rice with her heart! I can't imagine the prep work involved in making all those delicious ingredients, simmered to perfection. Another winner, who would ever imagine you can get restaurant style steam fresh whole fish at a hawker center for so much less. Ha, ha, ha, have you eaten, well even if we have, we will still make room for more, esp. desserts, us gluttons! Nice to see a young guy so skillful in making Hokkien Mee. I am still baffled how that hawker can even remember how to cook so many different dishes from his "international" menu offering. Nice to see a CKT with fresh veggies. Puggy, you cannot please all viewers, as long as you enjoy what you do and feature good, popular, as well as Block buster stalls, you are sharing your love for hawker food with others. In fact, you did feature some young hawkers, like the one making Hokkien Mee, the one prawn noodle stall, plus others in previous videos, making coffee/drinks, etc. You have compassion for hawkers, so don't change who you are. Soo.. any plans for backyard project of some charcoal claypot rice? 😅 That woman is amazing isn't it.. looking back at the footage.. I can't imagine how her arms and wrist handles the fire from below. It's quite painful even for a few seconds
@@Piggypuggy No way, I am afraid of fire, kidding me, making that claypot rice, too much work with all that fire plus having to turn the pot around. Wok hei is nice to watch but the intensity of the fire is scary to me. Btw, that kopi lady is also amazing, how she pull that coffee to create the nice foam. I thought they only do that for tea - like Teh Tarik.😊

Actually there are quite a few Ah Balling stalls...I know they are in Bedok Blk 85 and Chinatown. Chinatown stall has the option of red date and longan soup base.
Yeah.. I know Chinatown has one.. not familiar with bedok side though.. but this one.. it's been here as long as I remember

Always looks better in video 😂 but my goal is just to capture as much before many of them retire.. SG hawker culture generation will be lost. Eating with a cheerful heart will make any food taste good 🙂

I recall a very good chicken rice stall on the lower level of this center that usually had a long line. Also, the peanut soup stall was really good!
Haven’t made a visit to cover the lower level yet.. maybe soon soon 😄

Indeed, the steamed fish sets are very affordable. Usually one medium sized farmed seabass cost $5--$6 at the wet market. A very healthy meal too for young and old alike. Also the type of fishes they have are desirable, none of those pangasius catfish (aka sutchi, dory, basa) which is farmed in dirty muddy river water.
Humble Chinese owner.. great food at super affordable price. That's what draws such a long line of returning customers. It's really service for the people 👍

CKT is good, but it's ridiculously small for $5 + a plate. You probably can eat 2plates to go. Kind of arrogance I think!
There are too many sauces in each Hawker Foods.Sugar syrup or HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) eating regularly is not healthy
