neko case plays a vintage white sg tenor guitar. which is extremely rare and equipped with p90s. It's probably one of the most interesting pieces of string and would I've ever seen put together.
I've never played guitar, but I've fallen in love with this. Maybe 'cause I used to play the violin. But for some reason, I feel like I must own this! It's beautiful. Can anyone tell me whether it would be difficult to learn guitar on something like this or not a good idea?
eastwood gibson and fender are really all i use! i know im no one special and im not the best guitarist but i looooooooooooooove coming home to my guitars, girfriend and dog every night. its what i live for
@belbird I've been a bass player for twenty years and started playing ukulele recentIy and became so enamored with it that I've been buying and playing electric soprano and tenor ukes through amps (with effects, etc). I've also tuned my bass to fifths off and on over the years to inspire new sounds. Buy it and mess with it!!! That is how you learn. I've heard Warren directly quoted as saying he enjoys the challenge of discovering new sounds on an 'unknown instrument'.
I first heard of this instrument only a few days ago when watching a nick cave video. Later, looking at guitars on ebay, I saw one of these for sale and thought I'd find out more about them, so I typed 'tenor guitar' into youtube and find this video about the exact same guitar I was looking at ...and it features warren ellis, who was playing one in the nick cave video....! Is it all a weird coincidence, or is he the only person who plays these guitars? lol
It was designed by/for Warren Ellis, but we have shipped almonst 1,000 of the, you can order here: www.eastwoodguitars.com/warren-ellis-signature-tenor-2p/ or here: www.eastwoodguitars.com/warren-ellis-signature-tenor/
eastwood guitars I have one of these. it is incredible. I play a baritone ukulele and bass along with this model strung EADG. Perfect instrument for lots of tunings and styles. With flatwounds I can get great country sounds or beefy overdrive with the roll of the volume.

it's a shame no-one on this video, pointed to the obvious fact this guitar design wise at least is influenced by a Fender Musicmaster II.

@belbird my suggestion is try to learn the basics in a normal guitar. then switch...
His beard reminds me of Alan Moore
he needs more rings
What makes you think it is made in China? These are Korean made, most Korean made guitars sell for $699-$999.
