What a fantastic trip report. It was excellent! Unlike a lot of the ‘star’ airline trip reporters you include good amounts of the taxi, take off and landing, which is nice. Please don't change this. These are some of the best parts of an airplane trip and so many vloggers speed right through it! Clearly, they are not real aviation fans. They are simply fans of luxury - which flying business class certainly is. Great report. Loved it.

I took this same flight in 2017 in Business. It was the best Business. Great food. Very comfortable. However Emirates crew were friendlier. We landed in the morning.
Really nice review and visuals. Pro Tip. Try and white-balance the camera on those napkins or hot towels. Or try in editing to tweak the colour in post a bit more to better show the product. .

It's a beautiful offering. Have flown many times to AUH from SYD and back on the 380. Have always managed to take Studio 17H. Aft facing is quite neat and it's familiar each time I fly. Such a well put together clip. Loved it. Thanks. Flying Reimagined!

Hope your experience was better than my journey on their A380, from Abu Dhabi to Sydney in Business Class. The crew on my flight were sour and unattentive.
That's a shame, it sure didn't sound like my flight! My experience with the crew was great.
I agree the Etihad crews are not super friendly unlike Emirates. But the food and comfort of the A380 in Business was superb. And being to order when you want.

Very nice video. I really liked the music choices, the "cinematic" clips, and overall quality. It was difficult to see some of the menu items though due to blurring. If you do this again maybe take your time when scanning it?

Well done narrative throughout the flight. Hence, you did not explain to us if pj's and slippers were provided. Also is there a snack bar during the flight for business class and/or first class passengers. great music.
Thank you! There were no pajamas or slippers provided. There is a bar available for first and business pax where you can order drinks and snacks, but I didn't see anyone use it during the flight.

Thanks so much :) I try to shoot at 24 but some of the shots were from my phone so I believe they were 30fps. The ones from my gopro are also 30.

I flew the same seat on the same route a year ago and found the lounge and food to be great, the service good and the functionality of the seat good (although it is aging badly). However, in lie flat mode (a year ago they still provided mattresses but by request, and I managed to grab a couple extra to increase padding) I still found the seat very hard, and not much knee room. I slept three hours though, so it wasn’t too bad.
Interesting! Maybe they still had it, I'm not sure, I neglected to ask if they did.

Good review! I liked the Hue of the video, what did you use / which camera for the beginning and also the cabin tour in the beginning?
That was filmed on a sony a7iii. There was some post processing and color grading done to make it look like that hue, but it reflects what the cabin felt like at the time.

I don't understand why reviewers show the entire takeoff and landing. We know you got airborne and landed safely. Cut that portion of the video by 80% and use that time to show the menus more slowly. Thank you.
Some people actually enjoy the takeoffs and landings and complain when I cut them out or put music over them 🤷🏻 there’s no pleasing everyone! You can also pause the video if you actually want to read the menu.

I flew Etihad in March. Lounge is nice, you can have a sit down dinner via their menu if you don't care for the buffet. I love that they can open a fresh bottle of Champagne for you. However, before their financial troubles, they used to fly twice from JFK. I took the late afternoon/early evening flight. Now, they only have one flight per day, late at night. Funny, I picked the same seat - 16K. Although you have the option to change the seat firmness, I still found the seat to be too firm for sleeping. Champagne, wines and food is good, but I loved their steak sandwich on my return flight as a sank. The A 380 is a very comfortable plane. Next year, I am checking out Qatar's Q suites on A 350-1000 out of JFK.
What a coincidence! I think when I was in the lounge, the a la carte was downsized to a much smaller menu.
Good review, however you said the the remote control reminded you o the one of the A350. Etihad does not have any A350 in their fleet... yet. It is however simliar to their Boeing 777 and the Airbus 330. They do have 62 A350 on order which will be delivered in 2019. Keep up the good work. I liked the Etihad A380 aswell!

Great camera work but you didn't show the seat massage feature or the electric blinds :p
The massage feature would not have looked any different, its really just the seat vibrating. The blinds were locked shortly after takeoff :( and then I forgot haha

The business cabin was pretty full, I would say 85-90% full.
Early here! Nice video, Etihad's Business class studio looked like a hotel in the sky, their First Class Apartment should be like a private home lol.
I'm confused on why some planes must be towed to the gate while some don't.
That #EtihadGiveaway sounds promising, I honestly wanted that for my collection, I got no collection of Etihad yet :)

Unfortunately there was a data cap, and it's a pretty small one at 180mb, so I had to use it conservatively. Hope you enjoy your flight!
never use any business class so please answer, the food in lounge is free unlimited foods or we have to pay again for that? i dont really know thank you for helping and sharing a good reviews

I'm so overjoyed to have found your UA-cam Channel, without a doubt this is one of the best aviation channels out there, those cinematic shots of the Business Class studio seat looked so amazing and on-point. Such a shame that Etihad are making cuts to their onboard service particularly with not serving caviar onboard and the closing down or downgrade of some airport lounges #etihadgiveaway

I really wish Airbus had developed the A380 in the 1970s after seeing how successful Boeing was with the 747, and then came out with the plane in the early 1980s so that it could have dominated the skies for decades alongside the Boing 747.
Any idea how are the seats for families with a baby on the business class? Any different configuration available?
There might be some amenities such as a bassinet addition to the business class seat, but these would need to be pre-arranged with the airline. I am not too sure sorry
