@@Timboslice475 100% but if you're really worried about the more improbable malfunctions that might require a fcd, the mk111 mod 1 has it. it's a really, really clean running rifle and if you're worried about running it in mud, just adjust the gas block. it'll send any ammo down range with enough gas.
I love my pws mk114 mod2 (the premium model) also run a rugged radiant 762 suppressor with the 556 flash hider on the end and eotech exps2 on a unity riser, just pure perfection for me

Quality review. My MK109 in 300BLK with a JP Silent Captured Spring shoots flatter and smoother than the H2. I’m considering getting a Surefire Warcomp but I’m not sure that that is better than Surefire’s Three Prong flash hider for my build.
Its a nice sized carbine and love the BCM furniture and so I'd like to have seen the use a nickel borion trigger to complete the rifle. I think I spelled that right Lol.
Yeah the polished nickel teflon trigger which came with it was pretty bad, not much better if at all than a mil spec one. Love everything else about it tho!
@@HuntFishShootChannel It did have a polished trigger. I didn't realize that. They speak highly of the Springfield Saint trigger and I kinda like their Saint.

You said it has a pinned & welded muzzle device. Then you said it has gas setting in case I want to run a suppressor. How the hell does a person do that, with that stock rifle???
Remove the stock muzzle device and replace it with one you can attach the suppressor of your choice with. There is actually a number of options you have at your disposal P/W isn’t quite as permanent as many people think
@@HuntFishShootChannel wow! Thanks. I didn’t know it was so easy to legally remove a pinned and welded device for the average person. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I got some removing to do ;)
@MJ-km3qz the biggest thing is that when you replace it or if you replace that device you use one of the same length and repin it. If you have mechanical knowledge or mechanically inclined it’s not all that hard. just remember to separate the upper and lower to do it and keep them separate until the upper is a legal length!

I really do love my full MK116 Mod 2 rifle and it shoots great and pretty damn soft but i have ended up shooting my BCM 14.5 ELW MK2 with all JP parts in my 2 gun rifle cause it just shoots that much softer. The PWS has a weird recoil impulse, not bad, just weird when trying to be precise past 300 yards and bearing down on it
I dunno, haven’t seen or personally heard but there likely isn’t an AR or manufacture of one who hasn’t had that happen. That is generally speaking an ammunition issue.
@richardharris5819 I’m sure it’s happened even with a PWS. If you get a catastrophic failure like an explosion, it’s generally speaking, always ammunition related. thanks for clarifying!

Love PWS and it’s great that your channel is showing love for 14.5 rifles!
The 13.7/14.5 is such a great length for a fighting rifle and you lose a negligible amount for ballistic capabilities
I own their MOD2, and it’s fantastic. PWS has terrific customer service, too.
