He did win!!! His others performances are beautiful too!!
Who ever gave this a thumbs down has no soul.
You've got that right. Sometimes people are fearful of what they don't understand. But that's it; we don't have to understand everything. Just appreciate it ❤
Exactly man!
They are probably angry at themself that they have not tried to focus on a talent
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Exactly
10:18 Gabrielle said "you just changed the world." Truth is Kodi changed all of us.❤
What a wonderful comment. So true he has.
Every once in a while, these shows find someone very special.
Kodi is a phenomenal talent. He let nothing get in his way and that should truly be an inspiration to all of us. Glad he has been able to reach success and do what he loves. :) He won the show, and it was rightfully deserved.
Incredible. Children on the Autism spectrum can be exceptionally gifted and creative because of their ability to focus intensely on detail, repetition and long term memory, and also the way their brains process data. They have so much to offer the world. Beautiful reaction, Jay.
What about us adults? I think we’re talented too 🙃 people don’t grow out of it...btw he’s not a child either...
My nephew is autistic and he is extremely talented. He just turned 11. People mistake his speaking pattern for him being "slow". He didn't speak until he was six years old; it was thought he would never speak at all. He just suddenly started speaking one day. It was as though he always could speak but just didn't want to, lol. He's so smart and I can't stand it when people form opinions about him due to the way he speaks. When he is more intelligent than most adults at 11 years old.
@@JennRighter Tell him I’m a bit slow but I still managed to get a degree & I work full time in a good job 😊
I think there's something about not being able to process social cues that lets them "not give a fuck" and perform what they know is good with no self-consciousness holding them back.
@@NoActuallyGo-KCUF-Yourself 👈diagnosed autistic & very self conscious.
I bet a friend in the middle of his audition that he would win. This guy an others like him are examples of why no one should ever say i cant.
This guy was amazing. He's blind and autistic. I predicted he would win after his audition. He won.
Both of my children have special needs... my son is autistic and every time I see Kodi Lee see it makes me tear up
I cheered Kodi Lee on the whole season he was on AGT!
I love him, his talent, and his Mom. To have such a supportive family is awesome! I cried every time he performed! What an inspiration!! ❤ He won the whole season!
I also was rooting for him since his 1st perfrmance to his last. I was SUPER excited for him when he won.
Today is the first time I've reacted to you and I'm really surprised how sensitive and perceptive you are. Your reactions are heartfelt and really wonderful. Its a pleasure listening to you.
It did bring tears to my eyes. My nephew is autistic, I could only imagine if he could do something like this.
After working for many years with people who have autism, this was just wonderful. Considering the complexities of his autism especially, let alone being blind. Thank you so very much for sharing this vid. 9 hours to next year and best wishes for you and your loved ones, Mate
When Kodi said "I'm gonna sing a song for you" but really said "I'm gonna sing A Song For You" 😅
Before live shows, they have to compete to get to the live shows, by rounds and themes. He bypassed all of it with the Golden Buzzer. He won the season, but performances up to the finale are worth seeing. His duet with Leona Lewis ...
Callum Scott is another worth seeing. He and his sister tried out for Britain's Got Talent a few years ago. Chech out his audition. His sister sang right before he did and was denied.
I don't even know how many times I've seen this audition but I bawl like a baby every single time. Thank you for doing this.
Kodi is amazing, A true gift from God. There was another amazing performer on this same show. 11 year old Tyler Butler Figeroa who plays the violin. He is a cancer survivor. He's audition is equally inspiring and he wins Simon's golden buzzer.
I'd love to see Jovaughn's reaction!
I've watched little Tyler over and over, too. Such a performer and strong young man.
He did win the competition, and rightly so. God is AMAZING, and He touches us through beautiful people like Cody. Let us NEVER JUDGE ANOTHER, FOR WE DO NOT KNOW!!🙏💙🙏
Some in UA-cam once told me God gave me Autism as a punishment. It’s funny how religious people view it!
This guy is really amazing 😭💖 I prefer to listen to his versions of the songs because he's so emotional 💜
Yeees, he won 💖 pls, listen to his other performances ✨
This performance was so unexpected. I cried fr. Then looked for all his performances.
So inspirational and touching.
Music is powerful.
I'm actually crying again.
So touching.
He DID win! Even though I was actually a little partial to Benicio Bryant singing The Joke, which I would LOOOOOOOVE if you did!!! But yes, Kodi was wonderful and deserved all those accolades and more.
You need to watch ALL of his performances. They just get better and better and better
He went on to win the competition!
That's right, in the U.S. if they get a golden buzzer, they go to Hollywood. Fantastic. I think he won there too!!
That look on your face with just the first few words out of his mouth ... that made my heart smile.
I think everybody who heard/saw this for the first time had the exact same reaction as you. *JAWDROP* The kid is in-freaking-credible.
The Golden buzzer gets you to the live show in Hollywood.....no more fighting to get there!!! Great show!!!
He did win it all and had some great competition! Kodi also has his own UA-cam channel. I love his performance of John Legends "All of Me".
Yep. I remember seeing him and my jaw dropped. Music really did save his life. Created an outlet. Just genius.
Kodi Lee was named WINNER AGT Season 14. I believe it was September 2019 ?? Season 14 started in May 2019
Kodi Lee is amazing and he deserved to win. I have a 10 yr old grandson with autism and this is so inspiring. God bless you Kodi Lee ❤️
I have a young man who volunteers at my place of work ,he works directly with me and because of covid he's had to stay away and i honestly miss him ,I miss his super powers ,He has many ailments but never complains ,his knowledge of music is extraordinary ,I class him as my best friend ,he's my wee wing man .I loved this and tears are streaming down my face because it reminds me of my special friend ..Thank you for playing this ..love from Scotland .
He won the whole show too, he’s so amazing!!
Kodi Lee and his family are so amazing and gracious. He performed in our small community and was a big hit! Go Kodi Lee! What a great future he has!
The moment you first paused it, Gabrielle Union's face says it all!!!😳😳😳💜🎶🎼🎵🤟 Could bring tears to your eyes??? Ok complete wimp here...😭😭😭😭
I knew that song within the first 2 notes he played. that was awesome
I’m sure all that noise on stage and everything is a lot for him being autistic but he’s handling very well and he is so poised. A true professional in all rights in every way.
In that sense maybe being blind actually helps so he doesn't have all the lights and people in the audience to distract or upset him.
OMG I loved this. Watched it on America's got talent when he was on there. I had to pick up my jaw of the floor.
Music has such a fascinating impact on the brain. There's people that stutter or have Tourette's but when they sing all their symptoms go away. This guy is amazing.
Mel Tillis had a very bad stutter but if you listened to him sing you would have no idea.
YES. HE WON IT ALL!
I was watching the evening that episode aired. His performance was so amazing and inspiring, I don't think there was a dry eye in America when he was done!
🌹❤️ Music in his soul
Im so glad he was discovered. Thank you for bringing him to light here.
Still brings tears to my eyes. He did win and he deserved it. So inspirational!
His voice is amazing and he deservedly won the competition bless him and his wonderful family xx ❤️
He was amazing ✌❤
Nice reaction. Yeah, never seen all the judges on stage together at the same time before.
Kodi is one of 25 prodigious musical savants in the world! He can play 6 instruments and sing in a bunch of different languages. He can hear a song or piece of piano work one time and be able to play it back in full.
He goes all the way, and wins the voice
I love it when the judge says that we all need a voice and an expression. Such a blessing that Kodi found his. ❤️ It’s up to us to hear him.
Savants are gifts.
I watched the show and cried throughout. This reaction brings the memory back and it’s still beautiful. Please react to him singing Bridge Over Troubled Water at AGT. You’ll love this one as well. Thank you.
It's like watching a flower unfold when he starts to sing...I've seen this a million times...and I always cry...the music pulls out a magic he cannot get out otherwise ..powerful and just unbelievable....thank god he has a mother like he does...you can see the love she has for him...it's just so lovely..his voice is phenomenal regardless.... WOW
Kodi and this performance makes me cry every time! 😭😭😭😭😭
Thank you for reacting to this! Great reaction!
He's a savant, very rare, he picks things up very quickly, the music, words and piano, and remembers everything.
He can sit and play the chords and sing sometimes after only hearing it once, he has trouble speaking and yet when singing the words are effortless and his voice is beautiful.
He has an amazing gift....
Your face is everything...
I´m cry everytime
He is a exemple!
It did bring me to tears
Oh, and yes, Kodi did win that season!
I have 2 children with severe Autism who are non verbal and have never spoken and they are 16 and 13.. And I felt this mother in ways most will never know.. All you want is to give your children a voice in this world and I can't stop crying.. I just can't..Well done Kodi.. And from one mom with disabled children to another.. Giant hugs 🥰🤗💕
The only sad thing is, he can't see all the gold confetti or golden light. He certainly deserved that Golden Buzzer.
He’s amazing!! That’s why he won!!
Jovaughn, I would love you to do more of these videos from AGT, The Voice, etc. They are very uplifting!
Kodi DID WIN!!!!!
I absolutely love Kodi. My son has Williams Syndrome and Autism. We both cheered Kodi on throughout the competition. I was in tears when Kodi won AGT 2019.
Awesome reaction
He did win!! Watch him sing Bridge over trouble water!! Amazing!!
Tina lee is why i love these auditions.. what a star.. kodi is obviously but tina lee is unsung.. a hero..
dude I balled my eyes out the first 30 times I watched this Kodi is so talented he's amazing this is one of my favorite performances of all time and yes he sure did win the show!!!
Oh! I loved Kodi lee on AGT, he was so talented! ❤
I'm an autistic mum to an autistic child with multiple disabilities and my heart goes out to Tina.
It's so goddamn hard and I wish her all the love, support and strength in the world💗
You can see how deeply she loves her son and it warms the cockles of your heart❤️
I love Kodi Lee, he's a musical genius but his personality is beautiful.
Kodi Lee has raw talent! I was blown away by his performance the first time and it's still one of the most impressive I've ever seen
He won that season of “America’s Got Talent”!
As an autistic adult diagnosed later in life l feel music had helped me so much. I like that people are starting to recognise and be more accepting. Also that there education and that people on the spectrum are different not less. This makes me cry.
He did win it!!
The song he is singing is ‘A Song For You’ by The Temptations. He did a very nice job ❤️
10 out of 10, any day of the week. Knocked that out of the stage. Killed it twice. I can see how touched you are Jovaughn.
I watched this video a million times and each time I couldn’t help but cry. He’s such an amazing person.
I literally stopped dead in my tracks and shouted " sing it Cody" when he started
Knew you would love this guy and his performance. Kodi has an amazing voice. That last note was one of the purest I've ever heard.
The song is Elton John's 'Your Song'.
We knew who was going to win after seeing this!
😳😳😳I Know I made the same shocked face you did!😄 Beautiful Voice! VERY Touching Moment!
Saw this live & bawled my eyes out!
You should definitely watch all of his performances.
That kid is amazing. We were all rooting for him to win at my house.
If you haven’t seen all of Kodi’s AGT performances yet, it’s a must watch!!! 💕
GOLDEN BUZZER puts them straight through to the live shows. They compete with other finalists then one person wins. In 2019, Kodi Lee won the whole competition and $1,000,000.
I always loved how supportive his whole family were
Chill's and tears 😭😭😭 is all I can say!!!
I have three autistic boys - teens and a bit older.
They are ALL amazing people.
Autistic people are amazing.
I hadn't seen this one before... now I just gotta wait for my happy tears to stop rolling down. Amazing doesn't begin to describe it.
He did win the whole competition in 2019. He is amazing!
Yay Jay you did it!!! Thank you!, Told you you wouldn’t be sorry! 😘❤️ oh...and he did win!!
KODI IS ANOTHER ONE-OF-A-KIND PERFORMER!! ♥♥♥♥♥
Great Leon Russell song. He kicks butt with it!
You need to watch more of his performances. You are the reason is another song he did. He has a channel where you can see more. He did win!
Beautiful ❤ and to think it wasn't so long ago that people born with challenges were just locked away. Great reaction video ❤
Music, you truly get it. Nothing does what music does for a person.
People like Kodi, made me pick up a guitar and try to learn to play it!
Because I have no disabilities, yet people less fortunate like him can play an instrument.
If he can play an instrument, then surely fully capable person like myself can do it.
Thanks Kodi!
Great video
You know it does give a lot of Hope. I'm the mom of two boys on the spectrum who are six and eight and seeing this performance gave me a lot of Hope for the future for my little men
This young man will shock the world
