Pre-Spawn COLD FRONT Bass Fishing (Foolproof Techniques)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 1 жов 2024
- The water is slowly starting to warm up and the fish are starting to move a bit more. The problem is old man winter isn't quite ready to leave just yet. It seems that every week we get hit with a cold front that knocks the water temps back down a few degrees and seems to shock the fish. I will show the techniques I think really work well to get a few pre-spawn bass in the boat after those cold fronts roll through.

Pre-Spawn COLD FRONT Bass Fishing (Foolproof Technique)

Those black dots, or "belly spots" on spots, redeyes, and smallies, are a sign of MATURITY. Although water clarity will bring these out, as a testament to their incredible and rapid ability to camouflage themselves, they keep those belly spots their whole lives and they only increase with age. Belly spots mainly indicate you're getting good'uns! Belly Spots ROCK! > *
Got a 5.5 spot at Smith this weekend. Probably 8 inches tall and 5 inches thick. She tore my hands up.
D.C blanking out them screens son.. lol
They ain't going to catch themselves...... Love it
I love bassin and learning new things about bass fishing even though I've been doing it for 26 years but why doesn't any of the pros talk about current water temp that their fishing.....and what's up with the graphs blurred out? I guess they don't want us to know anymore than we already do!
Bigun, nope.
BIGUN! nope.

Thanks DC. Can you clarify a comment you made about the sunny day? I have heard fish will get tighter to cover but you mentioned when the sun is out they want to come up shallower and hunt around. Thank ya!
Can’t wait for DC to slam em. Hope the weather is better for you buddy. I know I live in Ontario and cold is weird down there
Damn, you're a cool dude. Finding the time to give us more content. I'm fixing to start liking you brother.

A net and some pliers might keep those hooks out of your hands...not fun , I know.
I really like those Aftco bibs. Great video!!
Great teaching lesson-Thanks and good luck on the season, you are a hoot to watch
Any kind of jerk bait...this one is a megabass 😂
Keep given em the smack down.
Amazing as usual brother
Everyone talks about hard bottoms, please show me what that looks like on sonar, and downscan.
It looks brighter, soft bottom looks dark and the hard bottom with look a lot brighter
Good luck this year bud.
Where do bass spawn on a river?
What lake u at
Hate to tell you but He’s don’t have eggs. 🤣
I was stuck between a med and med/heavy rod for jerk baits. Felt better with a med heavy but wasn't sure if that was too much rod. Guess not lol
Med hvy will over work the bait
@@davidnewcomb2431 Thanks for the advice. Still got a lot of learning
It just depends who you ask I guess. I like a fast action rod for jerkbaits. A medium power rod probably wouldn't be a bad idea though.
Really enjoy watching your videos. What is your Arig rod and reel setup?
