- A mother dog jumped into floodwater to save her puppy in southwest China. The heartwarming clip, filmed in the city of Meishan in Sichuan Province on August 12, shows a police officer trying to stop a mother dog from diving into deep floodwater. But, she rescued her puppy who was stranded in the middle of the water and brought it back to the shore.

im crying so hard right now 😭😭 pure love from a mother to her pups 😭 imagine she was willing to spend all of her energy just to save her little pups, but all the police officer did is just to watch her to save her puppies without any help while also trying to stop her from saving her pups, imagine if she was swept away by the flood, how pity was that 😭😭😭
The officers were right to do so. Such flood water is extremely dangerous. There are plenty of videos showing people getting washed away and drowned together with the person they wanted to save in such flood. The police officers are carrying out their responsibility right by not allowing anyone to endanger themselves.
All of them are adopted but please 🙏 don't separate mother & children at young age. Just look at mother who didn't think for a moment before jumping in water

This video doesnt do the story justice. In the original clip, after the dog saves her puppies it walks up on shore toward a large crowd of people (with puppy in mouth). As it approaches, the cheering crowd splits in two, the dog walks through the center as on-lookers part way. It was beautiful! I dont know why CGTN left that out.
