Gratitude ✨️As a RVer, part-time vanlifer & digital nomad, I can't wait to visit some of these countries in 2023. Thanks for sharing your lessons learned 🤗
I'm in Turkey!! I just arrived in Istanbul on Tuesday (five days ago), and I have to agree that it does appear that this is a great place for a digital nomad for so many reasons. I like the feel of here, it's this interesting blend of calm and passion, transportation is in fact great, both throughout Istanbul and from here to other areas of Turkey and the world, the food is of amazing quality, and the cost of living is low; you truly get so much for what you spend. I'm going to remain here for at least two months, maybe three, and I'm really curious what I'll think of it after I've been here for much longer than a few days.
@@TheLifeOfWoods It was great. I really like it there. More importantly, I love the culture. The cost of living is a definite plus too; although it has noticeably gone up since I wrote that original reply, it's still not bad at all by western standards. So, I ended up spending six months total there with three months away in the middle of that. Also planning to return later this year. In essence, what I think of it after six total months there is similar to what I thought of it after five days.
From October Malaysia will be offering Digital Nomad Visa which is issued for 1 year and extendable to one more year. Dependants also will be able to get visa. This newly introduced visa is called DE Rantau Nomad Pass. The annual income for applying this visa is USD24,000 per year.
My husband is from Bulgaria. I am from Thailand. We are watching your videos from America. Thank you so much for promoting Thailand and Bulgaria. 🇹🇭🇧🇬🙏
thank you Alina, very informative content. maybe you have to stay 60 days to travel around Indonesia, because Indonesia is very unique. there are thousands of islands, hundreds of different languages and dialects, diverse customs, beautiful beaches, vast forests, dozens of large lakes, hundreds of mountains both active and inactive.... the cost of living varies depending on the region. , Jakarta is the most expensive for the cost of living including the lungs of tourists. Can you imagine, if you spend only 10 US dollars a day and night for hotels and meals... Indonesia is very diverse in its cultural customs, very beautiful natural scenery both mountains, beaches, forests and others that you don't get in other countries in this world. ... Happy holidays in Yogyakarta... greetings from Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia.
I found your channel from the time you went to my country Bulgaria and am so glad that I did! I'm so happy you enjoyed it and I can definitely say you're very right- as when it comes to cheap I wouldn't say so for its own citizens which is rather sad.Another great video, your content is one of my favourites ❤
You said 'Our list' in this video. I'm not surprised if you have someone helping. I'll choose Thailand most likely but Bali and Mexico aren't off the table. Peace and Namaste
YES! I was afraid you would omit Georgia. Been there last year and it was AMAZING! Btw...cannot help myself...you look incredible in that silk night gown :) Greetings from Romania
I am so glad you seem so nice and healthy!!! I recommend you to come to Japan soon after the Covid-19’s restriction. Due to the current exchange rate, Japan must be one of the budget friendly country for Americans and Canadians. And also it’s very nice, quiet and clean now so far.
As usual, this was very informative to me! Alina your videos are ones I look forward to seeing and you make everything you present interesting to me. 💙💙👩🏻❤👩🏻👩🏻❤👩🏻
Hi Alina, Hope you are doing well. The Countries you had chosen were spot on. Always great advice. Harriet has a business colleague who works from Bulgaria as a Digital Nomad. Bulgaria is a beautiful country that offers so many budget friendly options. Thank You for the info. Sending you much love🥰🥰🥰 from Harriet, Jim and Yuki. Richmond< Va.
Thailand. Vietnamese. Fast internet. Both are cheap. Different in places from cities to nature and islands. Philippines would be nice choice but their internet is unstable and expensive for long term living.
@@AlinaMcleod for cell phone service, there is no unlimited data... you have to get a size in data, like 4gb of data and it varies in size. for home internet, packages for 20mb it begins about $30USD.. it varies with download and upload speed and companies.. the most expensive package i believe is more than $125-$150 USD for just 75mb download/ upload 150mb speed. even with that.. it can be unstable, drop in service
Try to visit Palembang City a lot of my friends in indonesia saying that Palembang city it’s also a nice place in indonesia! I hope you can visit that city, Keep always safe and healthy!❤
Saudi Arabia will also be very good to explore historical places, and especially tabuk province the Northen West part of Arabia, it takes you to a different world.
I have been travelling to 4 continets ,Asia (11 countries) ,Europe (20 countries) , North Afriica (Egypt) , Australia ,but so sad never been to the Americas...... What's interesting for me is when there is culture and nature .....and be more interesting is when there is a specific political situation...... I visited East Europe (Ceckoslovakia ,Jugoslavia ) during the Cold War years back in mid 1970's .....Travelling by train from West Germany to Ceckoslovakia ,feeling the tensions in the West-East border ,machine gun armed men checking our passport ........ So ,Culture and Nature is a keyword to selecting your next destination ..... Concerning budget ,South East Asia is cheapest and most save..... My personal expectation to visit now is Kilimanjaro,Afirica (to experience the wild life there) ,Peru ,South America (to visit the Inca Aztec culture and nature) ,Russia seems interesting too...... See you in the episodes Alina...... Luv from Indonesia.
Turkey's visa rules are different for every nation. Currently US citizens need a visa. The visa can be obtained online directly from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for $50 and allows multiple entries with a combined stay of 90 out of 180 days. For longer term residency visas/permits they recently adopted a policy of limiting the number of foreign residents in many districts to reduce the increase in rents and other pressures on the local population.
Hi there, Love all your videos and I’m sure there are some others Countries that we can add to this list but for sure I thought Albania would be one of them especially for American people staying for one full year just with vista visa is a very positive point 😊
Must be a lot of work how I see you film yourself from different angles when puting together a vlog each time and many editiings and takes. Thanks for your share on the vlogs on the things you do. I am open up to be your assistant to learn if you ever need a travel intern in the future.
Yes thank you for that overview. Do you know which country it is easy to enter witouth long quarantine etc? And if you are quarantines for 5 days, what willt he hotel price cost? I am not vaccinated, i would love to migrate to Indonesia from theNetherlands to Indonesia or to Thailand, beuatifull countries. I have currently an old Lenovo Yoga Ultrabook, that is as thin as that chromebook, i like a Windows OS more then a chromebook, but i do understand it is possible to install Windows on that chromebook, but on the other hand the batterylife is indeed very important.
Georgia is the best! Visa and covid stuff was super easy in 2021. Such a great place to visit. I highly recommend. And yes, extremely budget friendly. A glass of wine at a nice restaurant is about a dollar.
When you go, go on a Kakheti wine tour. Costs about 15 bucks, they drive you from vineyard to vineyard, all you can drink, and you stop to do zip lining in between (a questionable choice while drunk though). Amazing:)
It's not wrong if you have visited Indonesia, the most beautiful country in the world, your trip will be perfect after visiting Komodo Island in eastern Indonesia, a rare island that still holds ancient beasts! maybe there are 4000 dragons left there. And there are thousands of exotic islands where the sun shines bright all year round...there's a secret paradise beneath!😄
I mean Vancouver or Toronto are the very best cities, but Vancouver is near the best nature in Canada. Thus west coast area would be my top recommendation.
Hi Alina, thank you for the information, my advice if you provide information for digital nomads can be informed in detail about internet speed in that country and also the most important information about safety btw thank you 😁
Wow...two and a half minutes of advertisement to lead off a 13 minute video? By the time I got to the actual content, UA-cam was serving me their ads. I think I'll avoid subscribing to this channel.
The only countries i being into is Colombia my Home Country USA where i live for 18 Years Canada where we have Family Calgary LOL at 1:58 to 2:01 only once in 2012 June or July
I think that in EU it is rather different and less affordable than in the eastern European countries where it is undoubtedely convenient for digital nomads and where the cost of living is lower. Countries like Georgia, according to what I have heard, are perfect for living well with a good standard of living, suitable for digital nomads, besides other advantages (visa free....) and the environment and the people are fantastic. Thank you Alina for this nice video.
Bulgaria has been coming up lately as a good travel destination. Have viewed videos on Georgia. It looks like a fantastic place to visit, and it definitely sounds budget friendly. I do worry about what ties it may still have with Russia. I believe that Bulgaria & Georgia are much warmer than the Upper Midwestern USA. Alina, you really need to check out Georgia for us arm-chair-travelers and wanna-be travelers.
Thank u for sharing amazing vlogs as always. great wisdom is power.
Just seeing your superchat now! Thank you so much, Katzu!
Thank you for the kind words for Bulgaria! They warmed my heart.
You are always welcome!!!
Thank you! Would love to go back!
Bulgaria looks lovely and feels like home to me. Canada is also a beautiful place for living, tbh. Thanks again for coming to Indonesia.
My pleasure!
Thanks!
Awesome, Indonesia is one of the list for budget friendly .

Slovenia, I visited there for 7 weeks, absolutely loved it !!

That’s awesome and my pleasure!
Only took 2 1/2 minutes to get to the first country awesome ad for your sponsors
Hey Alina Thank you for visited and promoted our country, hopefully you have a great time here. Salam Hangat sehat selalu 🙏🏼
The most budget friendly countries I’ve seen are the non-EU Eastern European countries like North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Georgia etc.
Yes, those are great choices as well
The further east you go the cheaper it gets, but you downgrade on quality of life, such as the central asian stans.
Not sure about North Macedonia and Serbia ?
@andy D poland is cheap compared to western europe but its quite expensive compared to most other places in the world to be honest.
@andy D I think you mis-read what I said...
I'm looking forward to visiting Bulgaria next month 🇧🇬
Ooo hope you have an amazing time!
@@AlinaMcleod thanks! Your Balkan video catalogue is proving very useful for me this year - I've done Ohrid, Skopje and now also Varna haha
