I am using LG DFB424FP dish washer since 2 years. In the first year i had faced problem with pcb. The lights on the touch pannel had started blinking, resulting the dish washer to stop in between the cycle. As it was under warranty, the board has been replaced without any charges. In the second year it sometimes blinks in between, but continue with the cycle. Ppm of water is 750 to 800. Hence increased the hardness level, resulting to fill 1 kg salt every 15 days. Two of my friends are also using the same model. Ppm of water for them is less than 450. They didn't face any issue since 2 years. Also they doesn't have to refill the salt frequently.
Do use a 1800joules surge protection plug adapter for your dishwasher. My centralised gas house heater blew Control PCB 3 times during warranty period (1y) UNTIL I installed a 1800joules surge protection plug adapter. No more trouble for 15 years since. I have 1800joules surge protection plug adapter for LG dishwasher and Samsung Microwave oven.
Ty Saumya for the extensive research. I'm one of those affected lg users and thankfully after 6-7 service centre pickups, it's not having the issue. I even got a standby voltas beko 8 place because of that issue. Will recommend extended warranty purchase on lg (I think I extended mine by 3 years by paying extra)
I have faced issue with bosch dishwasher is that it clean properly but when we put water in glass it creates foaming around the glass indicates that it leaves some detergent that why I have return the product we have high tds 800 ppm please tell other dishwasher in which I don't have to face this problem ???
I am using both the Voltas Beko DF14W model for 3 years, and recently purchased the Bosch SMS66GW01I model for another accomodation, I observed the following: 1. Both products come with a label of "Made in Turkey" 2. I felt the build quality of Voltas is actually better than Bosch 3. The dishwasher basket arrangement is very similar in both, only difference being the upper basket is not height adjustable and does not have the small folding tines in Voltas 4. The wash performance, noise levels etc. are similar. The utensils come out sparkling clean and dry 5. In Voltas, the wash cycle times are almost double, it's like the programs with "Vario Eco" turned on. Note that the electricity consumption is similar to Bosch, but the water consumption is around 14-15 litres. 6. There is no "Auto" wash cycle in Voltas 7. The price of Voltas is almost half than that of Bosch Now coming to the initial experience (in a Tier-2 city): 1. I bought it offline from an authourised Voltas dealership. During the demo it was found the machine was faulty as the intake pump was not turning on 2. It took almost two weeks, multiple email escalations to area managers of Voltas and even pressure from the dealership shop owner (his goodwill was getting affected) to get the defective machine replaced. 3. The installation persons did not have any knowledge on how to setup a dishwasher. They were getting instructed on the phone by someone else. Although the machine is working flawlessly after then till now, this experience made me think twice before ordering the same model in my current accomodation in a Tier 1 city. Coupled with the sketchy Voltas Beko website where you'll start getting http errors when you try to get more details on any product, and multiple reviews on Flipkart of receiving defective products and poor customer support, I decided to purchased the tried and tested Bosch model. The Voltas DF14W product is good, but you need to be very careful. Better to buy it from a reputed offline store rather than online.
Good, useful information as well as recommendations in a short video. Love the content as always. I've been watching your videos for a long time now and would like to make a suggestion. It's a small issue, nothing big. In some videos the information displayed is sometimes misplaced. For example, in this video, while recommending the 8 place setting dishwasher, you mentioned VoltasBeko and Faber but the displayed info showed Godrej as product name with picture of VolatsBeko. There was a similar occurence in your previous video, Amazon Freedom Sale one when comparing 30L+ convection microwave ovens where the pictures were misplaced. As I said, it isn't a big deal but can sometimes confuse some people. Love the content as always. Keep up the great work

The only brand you should consider in dishwasher is Bosch, all other brands are just not that good. Have seen various company dishwashers at my relatives place but the way bosch dishwasher performs none can.
Yes it’s true. Bosh n Siemens r both foreign brands n no comparison with other brands. But Bosh is cheaper than Siemens n it’s make changes in qlty as indian ppl here wants to pay less money. In UK the qlty is better. But Siemens no compromise with qlty so no price reduction. It’s qlty in India is same as it has in foreign countries. Siemens is bit costly but topmost qlty trust me beta I have been using here since last 3 years Karina time :) have been using since last 10 yrs in UK whenever I visit
Thanks for sharing! I would have said that was the case a few years ago, but not anymore . I have seen many brands like LG, Bosch, Voltas and Faber (which I use). The cleaning quality at the end of the day is similar if you keep the settings right as per your conditions. The differences come in a few key things highlighted in the video.

The tea vasal are not cleaning well, the, Khichdi cooker, even for Sabji Pan too, I am using Finish salt, rinse and finish detergent. You also had 14 Place Faber. Hi! Yes I’ve been using for 4 years. If tea vessels are burnt on the sides, no dishwasher will clean it. So you may need to scrub before placing in dishwasher.

Easily adjustable rack heights in LG In my area the water ppm is around 800. Kindly suggest whether to go with LG or should go with BOSH I am still open to change my decision now.

We are using Bosch Dishwasher, absolutely fabulous product, do not go for LG, Tata Voltas Beko or anything else, Bosch is best, my best spending till now
Either one is good and my recommendation. 16 place setting will take more space. Also do check serviceability in your area of Bosch - as I’ve been hearing some issues with non Tier 1 city servicing.
Mere khayal se puchna chahiye. Itna hi dimag jal raha hai to SC /SC hata do. Bilkul hi Itna dimag jalta hai jab kabil logo ko job or admission nahi milta.
IFB dishwasher has worst performance. No Quality Checks at all. Utensils remain dirty and with soap solution at end of all programme. Dents on all type of SS utensils. Their customer service is pathetic. They cant solve any problem. Do not waste your hard earned money on IFB.

Is it required to rinse the utensils with water before placing in the dish washer ?
Nope. Unless it is burnt at the bottom, in which case a little scrubbing may help. I do it after the wash only in places rhe burn makes have not gone.

Thanks for confirming @olifern. That's what I heard and read from other LG users. However, some continue to be impacted by other issues like leakage.

No, all dishwashers dries the metal utensils... Only dishwasher safe plastic pots don't dry completely.

Mere khayal se puchna chahiye. Itna hi dimag jal raha hai to SC /SC hata do. Bilkul hi Itna dimag jalta hai jab kabil logo ko job or admission nahi milta.

IFB dishwasher has worst performance. No Quality Checks at all. Utensils remain dirty and with soap solution at end of all programme. Dents on all type of SS utensils. Their customer service is pathetic. They cant solve any problem. Do not waste your hard earned money on IFB.
I was considering IFB as alternative option than Electrolux. Friend has Bosch but had too many issues (our first choice was Bosch itself)
