- Gem-A guest lecturer Julia Griffith FGA DGA, tells us more about why fluorescence occurs and how it can aid us in the testing of gemstones.
This webinar was created as part of a weekly series of webinars known as Gem-A Live.
Gem-A Live is created by Gem-A in association with jewelleryadvisor.com.
It was the minerals exhibit in the dark room with the black light that still drives my interest in gemstones, real or synthetic, that change colors under different types of light, from Alexandrite to Zultanite. I make fashion jewelry as well as fine jewelry.
