Hello from Denmark. Thank you. ☺ Looking forward to see a video about sorting them and how you do it. Right now I use some boxes stacked with different holes sizes. From Morgan
I clean them out every few months. I have an update video where I show the process after a few months. If it's colder, they will reproduce, but very slow and possibly not at all. Obviously, that depends on how much colder. Below room temp, I haven't noticed much reproduction.
I personally don't feed roach chow, just easier to feed vegetables and left over (fruits and veggies) from the kitchen scrap. They breed just fine with it.
I think a good setup would be two or three tubs that can't stack inside each other and then have two with mesh floors let's the the baby's drop down to a second level or third level.
Wow! I never would have guessed, that I would find another person on UA-cam that is so close, that we use the same roach supplier. 😮
Whereabouts are you?

Don't know how I didn't see this video.... But it's on time... Setting up my first one this weekend..... Good stuff brother
Of course man! Thanks for watching!
I never thought I was a bug guy until I started breeding dubia's. I love these little fellas.
They sure are awesome, one of the best feeders for insectivores, hands down.
That's funny, my 3 year old daughter is afraid of most insects, but she loves the dubias for some reason.

That can work too, just has to be something they can't climb.
Thanks for this video!!! I've subscribed. I can see a lot of potential in this.
Thank you for the subscription!
Do they need heat to breed and what temperature?
@michaeldemczyszyn7133 yes, 85-90.
A couple of questions, how often do you clean their tote and if they slow down in the cold, do they still reproduce but at a much slower rate?

@@commercialelectrician133 thank you and good luck!!
You ever have them escape? 😮💨
I was against rats in my house but here we are 😆
Lol not really, if they do, it's from inside the enclosures but they always die within a couple days. They can't live in room temp that well.
How do you make roach chow

The babies need to be able to eat too so that doesn't work. Just gotta sort them every few months so you can get babies when you need them.
