- Join us on this Episode as we head onto Lake Superior to target Whitefish in the Lund! Chasing these fish in the boat is a pretty cool experience and something we will be doing more often! One of the most overlooked species in our mind.

Gents,
Nice to see you guys on the big lake again. Even if it was on the soft water. When was the filming done?
I am curious when this was filmed as well. Has to be mid summer I would think.
Last July or August i believe.
Awesome Video!!
What’s your favorite recipes for cooking/smoking them?
Baked, fried, and everything in between. Hard to beat a baked whitefish sandwich
Did you go back to a glass boat ?
400 is not gonna cut it .gotta get the 600 v12
LOL yes!!
What make / model is that net?
RS Nets is the brand. not sure about the model.
Another nice video! Makes me hungry for Russ Kendall's smoked whitefish! Hey I haven't gotten back to you on your invite and I apologize for being tardy. That's because over a month ago I got food poisoning and my kidneys began to shut down! In the hospital for over a week and a very slow recovery - but I'm doing better! Anyway, I have an offer for you. I have a cabin in Ontario, about 50 miles from Fort Frances on the Clearwater / Pipestone chain or lakes. I've been fishing this chain since I was a kid in 1958. There are a lot of fish up here, everything from walleye, northern and bass to lake trout and musky! Musky fishing can be quite good, my biggest was over 35 pounds. Anyway, if you guys would like to come up and fish it you can stay at my place. I have a bedroom with two beds for guests and a front room where you can set up cots if there are more. Yes, I have indoor plumbing and a shower! The place is old but it is a place and it is right on the lake. You can travel 35 miles by boat in one direction and about 40 miles in the other from my dock. There are a couple of mechanical portages to get you into Pipestone and Despair/Jackfish. Musky season opens the third Saturday in June. I probably wouldn't fish with you guys, I'll just hang around the old cabin - something I love to do. I have a window air conditioner if it gets too warm. Drop me a line if you're interested!
