Is a daily battle but the energy the mental illness but get out w the bike reset my mind and give me the hope to live this type of adventures. Thanks for inspiring and share ur love for the bike and the simple way of life. When the travel comes to south america u have a friend waiting to take a ride here in Uruguay 🇺🇾. Hope u a good journey, love u ❤
We can read this! This means a lot that you enjoyed the videos. Cycling really is the best for so many reasons. I’m glad you found it as a way to reset.
That is amazing that you have found cycling! I am the same as you but from Sweden. Bicycle travel is my main goal in life now but it can not happen yet because my dog is old and can not go with me. I would love to visit Uruguay, I have friends from work who are from there!
Boru is a hero among ultra cyclist community here in Indonesia. His attitude is gold, and his stamina left a lot of other cyclist scratching their head. We love instant cup noodle as on-the-go snack but it was Boru who showed us how to do it cyclist way, he boiled the noodle and dump it in one of his bidon. He ate the noodle while cycling. Yeahh *(scratching my head). And he ate KFC chicken and rice on the go. Yeahh *(scratching my head)
this must be one of my favourite youtube video’s i’ve ever watched!! the positivity, the cinematography, the kindness, the open mindedness💆♂️and most of all seeing how you are glowing with happiness. you can be proud! can’t wait for more🤝
I've spent years off the bike, struggled with my health. Watching this has been so inspiring causing me to get back into cycling and improve my life and health! Safe travels and keep pedalling!
I got back into riding last year, after several years off the bike. Now almost into my 30's, I regret my decisions in my early 20's to rush to settle down. I had my bike riding back then, but never embraced it for what it truly meant to me, and as a result my passion to just go for a ride quickly died out. Last year was the most I've ever enjoyed riding my bike, and this year even more so. I put it down to I'm enjoying the journey and exploring, both physically but emotionally too. Lately I've been watching a lot of endurance cycle touring style videos, but this series takes a unique perspective of the genre, one that I am enjoying following. It's not just about the riding and rushing to get somewhere as fast as possible, it's about the journey. I'm afraid as I head towards my 30's, with a young family of my own now, responsibilities towards them, that I may never get an opportunity to embark on a bike tour much beyond the city I live in, if not it may not be for a very long time. I don't regret choosing to have a family, but I do feel a sense I didn't choose to live my early 20's to the fullest, and I missed so much opportunity I had as a result. I'm hopeful that someday soon my time for an epic journey will come, and when it does this time, I'll definitely be ready to embrace it. I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you're still young, don't waste your time being something you're not, enjoy your life, look for new experiences, explore, and embrace the journey you're on. Time is precious, and you don't know what you've missed out on until it's too late.
Really appreciate this - it’s very true, we feel very privileged to be in a position to make these decisions at a young age, as you’re right it does only get harder as you get older. Enjoy the freedom of your shorter trips now and who knows what the future brings, I know people much older than you getting a second wave of freedom once their children have grown up.
I seriously love this it brings back so many MANY memories travelling in S E Asia and travelling full stop. One realises that people arer the same all over the world. There is so much love and appreciation for each other removed far away from the media hype and no nonsence on our TV screens
Watching this has made me so happy, I love following your adventures, they inspire me to keep doing some of my own and mostly to TALK TO STRANGERS!!!!!
Thanks a lot about this amazing video series! =) I have cycled from Finland to London and now I want to cycle around the world. I just have two small children so I will have to wait 17 years. XDD
A great part 2 difficult second album. Scratch that bike touring itch good n proper. I turned around for home after a few months when I was 25. The itch never went away and may now have to include Malaysia when I go on my big ride in 2 years time 27 years later.
Cycled from Bristol to Cornwall over the summer and my gosh this has made me want to just go everywhere! safe travels bro, i hope one day our paths cross on two wheels!
16:06 I heard "berhati hati di ruang platform" a lot in SG and I had no idea what it meant so I just imagined it as "we're happy happy you're on the platform" and it always made me chuckle lol
Absolutely amazed by your bike-packing journey around the world, especially the current adventures in Southeast Asia! 🌍🚴♀ The breathtaking landscapes, cultural experiences, and the sheer determination displayed here are truly inspiring! Congrats, Boru!!!
you can see the rough route here: www.hernehillvelodrome.com/wheres-boru but I don’t know if the tracker is still working. Maybe best to follow along on strava…
@allroadsconsidered sorry I meant the songs used in the vid haha, maybe I should’ve been clearer. But anyways cheers for the tracker 👌 I’ve been curious to know your route
As you can see bike travelling and travelling moves to another place, it remove the ego. Stuff like racing to times, weight, the latest light weight stuff means nothing. One realises that the modern lives we live are failing us and it has no point.
@@allroadsconsidered also…. How’s the mantention? You go often to the workshop in your journey? I want to do the same but I’m in a urge between choosing a carbon gravel bike or a cyclotourist bike with an aluminium or steel frame, thanks in advance ☺️

yes! Do it, so good to hear this. thank you
The storytelling, the visuals, this is beyond awesome
27:42 the phrase that ‘I would regret never doing that when I reach 30,40.’ really hits me. I got sooo inspired.
No time like the present.
