How long did you hold power off? Can't tell with all the edit cuts.
Actually instead hold down the crown button down and make sure it’s plugged in hope it helped

You have to delete it from your phone also. Once you try to pair it up to another phone after reset, it is going to recognize that it was paired to another phone and will not allow you to pair it up to a new one. I know this because I reset my phone, tried to return it to return it to the place of purchase (which they did not take back) and when I tried to pair again with my phone (clean pairing/start new) the phone gave me a message that my watch was already paired to another phone and needed to be deleted from that phone before pairing.

So when I do this my watch just gives me two options for medical id and emergency call and the power button is in the top left. I press that then the option for the slide off power button appears but this method isn’t working for that

Yea I just figured it out, if you still need you gotta press and hold the power button on the passcode screen and when the shut down pops up press and hold the power off and press and hold the shut down at the same time and it’ll ask to connect to charger 🫡

hard reseting anything apple is a patience workshop. impossible on a good day because the interface just doesn't look anything like it looked 3 years ago.
