Furforu was an absolute nightmare for me to get. Took me almost the entire event to get ONE and found 3 rare spawns before it!

furfrou was my first shiny and first hundo (i might have transferes some from 2016, yeah I know, rookie mistake) but those that I know of, they were my firsts

@@mariahmccoy3630 played in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.. its quite rare to spawn.. luckily where im from there are loads of pokestop.. the community lure them all to increase the spawn and also using quite a few incense and we all play all until late night everyday during the event duration
Buddy functionality idea / introduction of “bottle caps”:
What if for a certain amount of Km walked with a buddy, the buddied Pokémon were to find a bottle cap where, when applied, would increase or decrease the buddy’s IVs by 1.
For this idea, let’s say the Km needed to “find a bottle cap” were based on the rarity of the Pokémon and would multiply by 1.2x each IV gained.
For example, based on the eggs the Pokémon hatch from, or the level raid needed for the reward encounter, would determine if you needed 20 (tier1), 30 (tier3), 40 (tier4) or 50Km (tier5) walked for a single IV change. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Charmander, they would need to walk 148.832km (round to 149) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Gible, they would need to walk 297.664km (round to 298) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Mewtwo, they would need to walk 446.496km (round to 447) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs. The same math would be applied to reduce IVs for PVP Pokemon.
In addition to finding bottle caps with your buddy walking, perhaps they could be found in other activities by your buddy. Such as spinning stops/ raids/ gym battling / etc. This would also be EXTREMELY rare.
To avoid problems with caught 100%s, the stat changes could be visibly different than normal stats with the following:
* a notation on the Pokémon screen
* different colored IVs showing a bottle cap was applied
* the CP of these bottle capped Pokémon would be -1 of actual 100%s or PVP IVed caught Pokémon
* the 100% bottle capped would not be searchable with 4* but would have a search just for “bottle capped.”
Pros:
- This would make spoofing or radar services less profitable and encourages more gameplay with the same Pokémon.
- Entices player to “bond” with a single Pokémon for longer and therefore play the game more often to get the coveted 100% dex.
- Allows all types of players to get 100%s while also not flooding the player base with actual 100%s.
Cons:
- All players would have access to the best Pokémon if they walk enough
- The need to catch all Pokémon would be reduced slightly
If you can think of any other pros/cons, reply to this comment so we can share our thoughts about the idea and maybe someone at Niantic will pick it up! Ideas welcomed and I’ll update the post accordingly.

Especially when they wouldn’t have had to transfer it if he knew the word “rarest”… The heart-break Spinda was wayyyyyy more rare than what he was going for, dumb. 🤦♂️
I'm so sad I didn't realize I could get a sinnoh stone for that research till now after the event that I'm watching this video. I really need to get some if those stones in my opinion they are the hardest to accumulate and save and even get in the first place

Another non sense comments, Niantic teased earlier about Team Rocket, that is all trainers, 3 Team Leaders Blanche, Sparks, Candela, Professor Willow and Rhi first ever need to cooperate with Team Rocket to stop Rotom causing havoc during Sinnoh Tour.
I didn’t know this trim even existed until now but now I have the shiny trim 😄 hope everyone else is able too get one also 👍🏻

I got a lvl 1 shiny heart trim furfrou from a buddy. Traded a shiny luvdisc for it. Wasn’t lucky but both were 2*. As for oricorio, I got 10 spawns from 3 days on a college campus.
You can get oracio in Oregon.

My psyduck that I caught two days ago is also rare. The Bidoof that I caught in 2022 is rare. My Magikarp that has 79cp is rare. My Scyther is super rare. The rarest in my account a 2 star Charmander. Can't forget my rare steelix. I also have a rare squritle along with my garlarain zigzagoon. My jigglypuff that I caught this event has got to be to some type of rare. God I never knew how many RARE pokemon I have in my account.
