I just want to thank you for another great video and taking the time to take us on a little tour of these beautiful gardens. I can hear the excitement in your voice and I bet you can't wait until you get to Texas to plant some of those beauties.
I was surprised to see astilby and bleeding heart in that much sun. Granted it's not zone 9b California 😄. Great idea with a kiddies pool for those pitcher plants. To have the space for all those beautiful plants! Thanks again for taking us along Ambrose.
I’m in southern Kansas and I’ve grown to love dy lilies. They take the heat, they will take extra water, or drought conditions. I have a lot! Thank you for this video! Fun to see
I just love how excited you are about your trip. I could watch your videos all day. I just wanted to say that if you are moving to Texas, you might want to start looking at the Southern Living Plant Collection. A good resource for info is the channel called Horttube with Jim Putnam. Lots of gorgeous plants that you can grow in Texas. Also Linda Vater is in Oklahoma. she has a gorgeous garden. I dont remember the name of her channel but is has her name in it.
It's been so hot and dry here that my daylilies and hibiscus ... and okra...are the only things I have that look pretty. Oh, and a couple clumps of Mexican petunias and a huge clump of Turk's cap.
how do this pants grow without being watered? there are no irrigation pipes. they cannt be growing like that with only rain water. wow. whats the secret here? coz definitely nobody is hand watering them
Gorgeous!!!! Makes me want a hosta garden!!

That bleeding heart is called pink Diamonds and does really well in part sun in the south. It also blooms until fall.
