At 13:03, you can see part of a film frame on the right side of the screen.
It’s likely possible that when THX put the Tex trailer onto other DVDs such as Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, and Cars, they might’ve fixed that mistake.

@@SebastianSegura1138 Since Tex was originally in open matte, it could be possible that the original print of Moo Can was also in open matte as well. Speaking of the latter, one thing that kind of bothers my friend is that when Moo Can was released on DVDs like Monsters, Inc. and disc 1 of Finding Nemo, Tex was slightly repositioned. Why would Pixar feel the need to that? Apparently nobody talks about it on the CLG Wiki.

If you look really closely, you'll notice that in some of the variants displayed, it appears that Tex is repositioned a little bit when he's in front of the THX logo.

I see your point about the screenshots of the trailers in the menu. I think the version of Tex 1 presented on this disc is tinted a bit differently, don't you think?
It does look tinted a bit differently. It seems like when THX remastered Tex in 2005, they either took a look at the original version when they first put on DVD by color correcting it (which honestly wouldn't make that much sense because when you transfer something from film to another platform such as VHS, DVD or even Blu-ray, color correction would usually be required). Or, the more logical explanation, they took the original film print of the trailer and then cleaned up all the dirt and stuff and decided not to color correct it and/or give it some sort of tint. Don't get me wrong, my friend is a sucker for vibrant colors, even if they're too vibrant. But if you're going transfer something from film over to another media platform, color correction isn't always needed. That's why when my friend came up with the idea of making THX: Archives from the Reels, he figured it'd be best to have every THX trailer that was put onto film be remastered in 4K (or maybe even higher resolution like 8K) with better picture and sound quality, but have no color corrections necessary. Right now, that project is on the back burner because of how expensive it would be.
@@hanleiaoldestson7550 if I may the thx ultimate demo disc cds will go in the movie theater projectors at star cinemas, and movies Havasu, so the thx logo will start after the previews, and before the movie starts.
