Excellent video. Little Richard was something else. I am a huge fan of the 1950s Rock and Roll. Some suggestions if you want to continue making videos about 50s rockers every so often. Besides Elvis, Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry, how about Fats Domino? Two great pioneering guitarists, Link Wray and Duane Eddy, who are almost forgotten. Please consider the Doo-Wop genre of the 50s. Also Ritchie Valens, who shorten his last name, Valenzuela, at the suggestion of Bob Keane to broaden Ritchie's appeal. Actually, imo, to hide that he was Mexican-American. Take care.
That's Little Richard's best album. It nearly made the US Top 10, at #13. Fun fact, as far as I can tell, no rock artist made the US Top 10 albums in the 1950's, except for Elvis Presley. Who even had some #1's. Some came close, like Bill Haley, Buddy Holly and Little Richard. But, I think The Everly Brothers were the first rock artist, either than Elvis, to go Top 10, with their first two Warner Brothers albums, which both got to #9 in 1960.
@@TJRtheOriginal Ricky Nelson had the great James Burton on guitar, but I consider him more in the Bobby Vinton style of teen singer. My local rock radio station certainly never played any of Ricky Nelson's hits, save for his later "Garden Party" one-off early '70's hit.
TJ, agree with you! We need to acknowledge the founding fathers of rock! A great and insightful video!
Great album. I love Little Richard!

Same to you
Little Richard was the first true Genius of Rock n Roll, as he created his own category of music.
He was so outrageous for his time too.

I’m hearing that VMP is going through some financial issues so hopefully they don’t go under!
I was not aware of this. I hope they don’t go under either.
