The 'power' that satan has is given to him by man, in his ignorance that there is another power separate and apart from God's power. It's like how some people give power to a cockroach or a rat even though the reality is the cockroach/rat cannot harm them.

Satan has been given power to rule the world but not authority & there is a distinct difference. Mathew 28:18 says All authority has been given to Christ and then in that upper room from Luke 9:1 He called His together & gave them power AND authority over ALL demons and to cure diseases. More throughout the scriptures but as Paul writes there’s no authority except from God & as Jesus told Pilate he would have no power against Him unless given from God, it is the same for children of God. Satan has power but God alone has authority.

I tried reading one version, though I don't remember which one it was, but had to put it down because it put a negative where every other translation I had access to had a positive in that sentiment.

It truly amazes me as to how many seem to INTENTIONALLY turn a BLIND EYE it seems to the obvious possibilty of what Paul was implying here. To me, and many others out there it is CLEAR that Paul was implying that Satan has the ability to fly. Remember, this is stated by a Man lacking concerning any type of dirigible. As far as Paul could fathom visually (possibly), was that Satan was in fact capable of flight by mastering and utilizing the air somehow. Did he witness this or was he motivated by the Holy Spirit to say this is anyone's guess of course but it certainly does make someone take pause TODAY in 2024, if he possibly had seen himself a UFO and attribited it to being Satan(correctly) or a ANY fallen angel.
