  • The P-V relation for an ideal gas undergoing an adiabatic (quasistatic/reversible) process is derived from the First Law of Thermodynamics, the Ideal Gas Law and the adiabatic condition of Q=0. Integration, exponent laws and logarithm laws are used.

    Just like the first law of thermodynamics is
    Q added = Work done by the gas in the cylinder + Change in internal Energy
    The second law is The work heat added is work done by the gas + heat rejected to the surroundings?

    A constant specific heat c v0 ideal gas is a perfect gas not an ideal gas.ideal gas only obey the ideal gas lawthat is Z is 1
