Akumas damn air fb makes this mu so hard for me like i feel i have to jump air to air him or walk under or drive rush with ryu when i have a read since ex dp only hits if hes like super close and then it trades -.-
reg hp dp from ken will cancel akuma's air fireball, haven't experimented with ryu yet.
If you hit him with your DP, the air fireballs vanish

How do you get your combos so good? Whenever I get an easy punish I always default to meterless 2-3 hit combos. It's like my brain panics and defaults to the easy stuff. But I miss opportunities to shorten and win matches because of this.

I find that Akuma players seem to be running on Ken software. Every wakeup is a DP. First weekend was brutal. Let's make a scary face at the poor chap playing Ryukachu. Then soon after oh no, why is Ryu hitting me so hard, where is my 9k hp. Also I feel like I can find Akuma without honour. Evil begone. I'ma gonna jump at you and DP your fireballs. Finally got to gold. Love the new combos. Ryu hits like the isekai truck

Akuma is a hard matchup for ryu, tought ill beat him easily but i win one in 8 or 10 games against him.

Solar plexus strike got a buff a while ago that puts the enemy player into block animation if they're holding back, it's stronger that say for sure dont know about other changes
