This piece by Ren is just outstanding. He is a fantastic lyricist / poet. His words on paper read or sang to music is something I wait for every day. His words are always very deep and almost always refer to pain in some form or another, physical or mental, we all feel pain and have hurt inside us from something, either being physically hurt by someone else or by our self. And hurt mentally emotionally by something said to us, a remark, a put down, nasty words. We have the desire to crawl into a hole and stay there. But we can't.
I feel like this is his most underappreciated and overlooked song. Beautiful. Also, 6 months old? That's wild. Both of my boys didn't walk until the week of their 1st birthday. Thanks for this reaction❤
I've heard Molly was also suffering some health issues that hindered her quite badly, but is now on the mend. I hope to hear more from her soon as well.
This is incredibly powerful. I think in the timelune,this cones after Crutch. Crutch was done in the deepest time of his illness when he was fighting for his sanikty as well as his life. It's a beautiful jewel.
I saw Simply not Simple's reaction earlier today and was wondering which channel he was talking about. Glad it was yours. This is one of Ren's most beautiful, poetic songs imo. Crutch is another art piece by Ren. I watched Simply not Simple's reaction to that today as well. It was filmed in 2015, a couple of months before Ren's correct diagnosis, on a very cold October day.

I was unnerved too, when I first watched this, but really great music is meant to make you feel at least one strong emotion, I think. Superficial music can be great too, if you just want to enjoy yourself and switch off, but there does need to be some kind of balance between the two - preferably with more of the former.

Really enjoying your channel. If you don't mind a suggestion. Your audio quality has really gotten better, but it would really help if you could turn your microphone up a bit.
