I think its important to talk about how a company responds when something goes wrong with a purchase. My 3.0 arrived with a bad head light. It didnt work, neither did the elite headlight(100$). I complained, at some point in time, they said a mew controller would be sent. I did some troubleshooting, and discovered the headlights were bad. So i got a compatible one off of Amaxon, then complained bitterly about the elite being defective. They refunded me the cost of the elite, and sent out a new one. Then the bike had a flat ony.way home, (cheap stock tires, this is nothing new either). And oh yes the tire blew out as well. This I did not complai about. Tire problems are nothing new to ebike owners. So I ordered new tires and tubes, got the wheel off,covered it and waiting on new tires. I would say I would have liked the tires to last longer than 100 miles. But that is the way things go

They just recalled 45,000 3.0s for faulty mechanical brakes. They are not saints giving away hydraulic brakes, they are trying to save their ass and minimize the inevitable lawsuits that will follow.

If you read the report by Micah Toll on Electrek he mentioned that there was only 4 reported issues with their mechanical brakes

Super fun bike. It was faster then I was expecting to go on a bike and takes a little bit of time tog er used to riding on.

If you have the 3.0, go to their website scroll all the way down and click on the recall button. I just got my brakes and installed them. This upgrade is a HUGE game changer.
