I have a 2000xl, on drum 1 shots its fine it takes 10 seconds, on drums do everything but the bass drum and it's like an mpc3000 sound wise its very close, resample is an underrated feature.

Nice one, good to see that You're an active dude here on yt, always a pleasure to see your new vids. If you ask me about resampling on 2kxl I think (at least given the samples from this vid) it sucks #ss and I think I used to try it when I had one, it was in my summer house and I remember I tried to either change the bit rate of the sample or to resample... Can't recall it exactly but the processing took so long that I managed to leg me way down to the lake, take a swim, come back and I still had time to rolll a spliff and smoke it... Anyway, I have some other gear to downgrade the bit depht or emphazise the aliasing with pitch down on Low sampling rates so the only reason I want to buy this bad bwoy again is for it's midi and og feel and looks (call it nostalgia if ye want). Would have been nice to hear the resample quality in high as well. Was that you setting a low end filter at the beginning of your FX board chain - then resampling? I couldn’t quite understand what you were doing when you said you were low end filtering during the resampling stage and can’t see the screen!
I've used resampling one time but maybe I've set the parameters wrong because I didn't hear a lot of difference... I will use your settings to see what happens :)

Wow did not know the 2000XL had a re-sample feature. Thanks for the vid. Now I regret selling the 2000XL years ago.
You can also change the bit right down to 8 bit lofi and 12 bit grit from being at 16. I bought a Mpc 2000xl ebook when I first bought mine also from the Mpc Forum. The manual covers a few things if any that was made for the sampler.

@djrugged1 I don’t have a effects board at all it’s not needed to change the bit rate. I believe I got a video on my channel with the steps.

You said you recorded at 78RPM and then you resample it to around 26k, you still have to manually pitch down the sample after resampling right because otherwise it still will play at 78RPM?

Resampling always crashes my mpc, whats the longest its ever taken?
I find that on high quality it can take over 20mins if the sample is longer than 1bar. Also it will crash if you don't have enough memory for the new sample.
I try it not with my dusty mpc. I can watch a movie in between, or take a nap.
since i have my isla s2400 mine mpcs are colecting dust .....
