None of you people started off being able to fix everything correctly and I'm sure you all have cut a few corners in your life. Cut the kid some slack hell some of the kids his age don't even know what a damn tool is let alone build something and it actually run.
Cool video man, it's nice to watch the next gen actually wanna do fun things outside and work on their own rides. A little advice with the tape, you did good measuring before you cut it but after removing the backing you should try to keep it as straight as possible before sticking it on. What I mean by that is, start from the inner fender because you could have kept the tape straight until you needed to wrap it around the outside of the fender. Also, this would've helped pull the front half up to sit evenly with the rear half (if you look it is sitting lower because you pushed it down as you wrapped the tape around). Overall, good fun messing around with a cool project. Keep up the good work!
Heklyr 33 even better would be to just peel the backing on enough of it the get it started and then slowly peel and stick as soon as I seen him peel the whole thing I was like NO its over with lmao but we all have had to make those mistakes to figure it out

Its best to be prepared when doing a build or fixing things. Cheap is not always the way to go. Sometimes its best to get the right parts and have a variety of tools to work with. But your getting there, dont never give up.

On your motor there is a spring that is attached to the governer arm and the throttle cable. If you put a zip tie to clamp that spring shut it allows more throttle. I did it on my go kart.
It is stock i know where that cart came from and was built...it is bone stock except it has a stage 1 kit. Basically just has a bigger jet in the carb which only adds a few mph to that set up
Any one know good advice for replacing a plastic dirtbike gas tank with a metal one? My 1980 suzuki pe175 has a plastic gas tank and my brother patched 2 cracks in it then a year later it cracked again so i patched it about a month ago and yesterday i noticed it cracked near the filler neck. I lve been looking for gas tanks about the same size but the crappy ebay universal caferacer ones are too long. Any body know of a shorter metal gas tank? I think im gonna need a lil more than migs and his flex tape for this one.
You might be surprised what that flex seal can do....it would probably not be cost effective but any local fab shop that you can take the plastic tank to could make one pretty easy or maybe a local high school vocational class if you buy the materials

El Monstro 24 he is just making a suggestion and here is what I was doing as a kid www.benhurspeedway.net Race on Saturday or Saturday Sunday a few weekends a year unload on Sunday tear down on Monday clean everything Tuesday rebuild on Wednesday scale and adjust on Thursday load up on Friday with 2-3 kart team and my best friends dad and uncle we spent our entire free time dedicated to dialing things in the engine runs but isnt great and that clutch is either worn (my first guess because that is a heavy kart) or needs a major adjustment On pavment it probably works a lot better but in that grass he is doing more harm than good
Could build one pretty cheap from PVC and tarps I had a couple of them back when I was into modding powerwheels for my kids because I couldnt keep 27 powerwheels in a 2 car garage and still work

Moto migs you can also drill wholes in the fender on each side of the crack on the fender, and then put zip ties in a x form. It will hold very well
