I tried to go on Gold Rathian LS with purple sharpness (3 handicrafts + rampage sharpness and attack lv1) with PP3. Pretty good damage pratically equal to your first set but without MoH. Playing with redirection 2 making a lot Sakura slash then sacred sheathe.

Since the base build is fairly straightforward with no status specific skills like Foray etc, should I just run Luna instead of Sunderer in all or most cases?
Ok, let me see if I remember anything from college math/physics classes. If I'm reading the document correctly, basically it's saying that using multiple conditional affinity skills - such as WEX and MM - leads to slightly lower actual affinity than you would normally expect? The graph seems to be saying that for some reason, in a situation where you have 40% base affinity and 50% from WEX, the affinity you get from MM has extremely diminishing returns past the point where activating MM would put you at exactly 100% affinity.
Great video as always, although I'm curious about skills such as Status Trigger, Foray or Chameleos Blessing especially for poison builds. Did you intentionally ignore those or are they not efficient?
When I tried them myself I had a similar feeling. Status Trigger desperately needs Evade Window which is quite tough to include in most high damage builds. One more question though: wouldn't it make sense to replace some of the Speed Sharpening decos with Poison / Para / Sleep / Blast Attack decos for faster status buildup?
@@obsession1313 Oddly enough, Capcom made most of the Status Attack Decos 2-Slots, so, for those, definitely not. Losing 2% of your damage for 5% more element seems like an absolutely terrible deal... Poison Attack's the only one that's still 1-Slot, and so you don't need to sacrifice Damage for it, but the benefits are still minor that I wouldn't bother. I'd stick a point of Free Meal over it or something instead.
Very interesting actually, I never looked into the other status decorations but you're right, blast, sleep and para are all 2-Slot decos meanwhile poison still remains at 1-Slot. Which is quite surprising considering poison is probably already the strongest and most reliable status anyway. Thanks for sharing your opinion, I'll definitely look more into poison builds from now on. I think it could work out really well with the Sakura Slash playstyle!
Imo element LS is better with a counter heavy playstyle i.e harvest moon, special sheath. Where as the sacred sheath playstyle works better with raw focused builds.
@@dreamingsuntide1 Oh. I noticed that the particle effects only happened some of the time, I just didn’t connect it to the effects only proccing then. I wonder why they didn’t just adjust the status effect to apply every time at 1/3 strength.

Is the new Adrenaline Rush from Lucent Narga not even worth considering? +30 atk power just for dodging into an attack for 30sec is pretty huge, no?
I rolled a QS3 3-2-1 charm (or at least something like that), how can I optimize my sets with it? Is it even worth it to have such a charm?

Yeah just go 4 qurio slots to raw (so atk +10)
I might have missed something but for the luna LS you put RRRRA for the upgrade but poison upgrade cost 2 not 1 so not sure here.

Status is only inflicted a third of the time, for some reason...
