the fact that a lot of this was hand drawn as well, they wanted it to be as close as possible with oringinal rubberhose animations and i think they did a beautiful job
I really wanted to like this game but it just seemed difficult for difficulty’s sake. I love the beautiful animation and I’m forever disappointed that just because I have a hard time being as precise as the game requires because of a hand injury that I’ll never see most of it.
@@doctorstaples4947 Yeah, I think it's okay for games to be difficult, but at least have a bitch mode so normal gamers can at least play it. I really do not enjoy playing this game or darksouls, because it's too unforgiving. Just let me enjoy the game.
As a person who's beaten cuphead multiple times and has S+ rankings on all bosses, I have one crucial piece of advice for you Dan. *You just gotta dodge 'em*
@@Mauripsu Well see burning your prints off isnt a good way to prevent leaving prints because there is no way to cleanly burn off prints so the scar tissue left over will create an extremely unique print, so the only good way to prevent leaving prints is gloves of a non-fiberous material. Just an interesting factoid
How the hell do you guys go from losing consistently to the mermaid and just casually beating the scientist who is (BY FAR(in my opinion) the hardest flying level
I had recently been binging old episodes of his to help deal with anxiety attacks, and had actually just recently watched his Cuphead vids a little bit ago. Now we just need the drift daddy to go back and 4star all of the levels in overcooked.
@Tooth Fairy yupp thats where the real difficulty kicks in. i havent completed trial of the fool yet and im currently doing the pure vessel fight. thats why i wouldnt call hollow knight the easiest , since its a pain in the ass to actually 112% it
@Tooth Fairy i agree with you on that one. hollow knight seems, at most times, to be more fair and forgiving. cuphead, you get lucky enough to not take damage and win. my point in my original post was that he would’ve went from playing a hard platformer to playing another hard platformer, so maybe he would’ve been a little more equipped.
Cuphead is much harder than hollow knight. Hollow knight is pattern based and know how to dodge every individual attack, cuphead is literally just dodge all the bullshit
Having played both, not even close. I've beaten the base game, the first two trials in the colosseum and the first Pantheon boss rush in Hollow Knight. I never got past the first island in Cuphead. It kicked my ass.
Just a tip from me to future co-op players. If P2 dies then you can pause, remove them from the game then resume. Then P2 can spawn back in with 1hp. Some might call it cheating but I find it makes the game slightly more enjoyable.
This game made old cartoons unwatchable for me. It does such a good job of mimicking that style, that every time I watch an old cartoon I think "oh it's like a Cuphead boss" lol
Already looking forward to two years from now when the stars align and you spend an hour fighting the Devil, with 45 minutes spent relearning the controls and ignoring the smoke dash. Cheers!

I don't know if it's been patched, but there's a glitch in the Devil's fight where when he makes a hole to go in and progress the fight, if you stand on the edge of the hole and don't go in, you can keep shooting where he was because his hitbox is still there. He also doesn't attack until you go into to hole, so you're invulnerable.
Told someone at Gamestop that I love the Soulsborne games because of their lore and worlds. He said I should play Cuphead. No, Gamestop employee... I don't think I will.

Forgot how beautiful the animation in this game was. A little hard to appreciate when playing given the difficulty, but it really is amazing

My Friend loved the particle effects so much he's spinning on the floor. He refuses to play though so I'm playing by myself.
