I hate all of this shit talk about Ricky getting Dementia and all that there. He still seems sharp as a razor to me.He says what he means and he means what he says, and that's good enough for me.....As a former fighter myself,I find him lucid/together and I could listen to my hero for hours, and you know what???I think I will. What a straight and honest shooter,as a former athlete myself...he was and IS STILL one of my top 3 heros

Sparred with Ricky at Phoenix Camp when he was 17 and training for the World Junior Championships. I knew then “this kids got it!”. Billy Graham knew it too…the rest of us had to take a back seat when Billy took him on #X-Factor 👊🏾 Great person, great fighter.

You smashed it Ricky, the whole country had your back. Your journey is so reflective of most working class lads whether they choose the marathon of being a, professional sportsman, tradesmen, getting through university, vocational work, doing a tough or tedious job. You have to work double hard to get there, then for what you get and then spend the rest of your days worried about keeping hold of it from one day to the next. Well done!!

@victorvladimirputinu1746You don’t understand boxing do you? Hatton was the best light welterweight out there. Bit tiring now constantly hearing him bang on how down to earth he was and “one of the lads” “ from a council estate” it’s like he’s always trying to convince himself he has no ego when he clearly did , if he was more down to earth he wouldn’t of fell apart after his losses , just like Naseem he was ok till he got beat then he never got over it .. also like Naseem he was good , very good but couldn’t hold his own with the very best ..
