if you can do this just with a bowl some hot water and dry ice why do you buy a machine?

They get their dry ice in bulk. It doesn't make dry ice.

Hey No it doesn't depending on how warm the roomis, The cloud just evaporates and leaves no trace at all . Thats why venues don't mind us using it
It's so simple why pay $1000 plus for something you can make yourself

this can be purchased via any online supplier but make sure you don't order too early as it will start evaporating the moment you get it . Also don't try put it in the freezer and refreeze it or you could literally create a bomb and the packaging will explode

is this safe to have at an events going thought the duration of a 8 hour convention
its perfectly safe but 1 box of dry ice typically lasts max amount of 10 mins meaning you will be spending hundreds on dry ice for the 8 hours

How long will it last?
it doesn't last long, depends how much you use ...plus its only 100% effective while to water is boiling, the more dry ice you use the cooler the water gets and the effect will then stop until more boiling water and dry ice are used ...and so on
