Cinccino is one of my favorite Pokémon, both competitive and design wise. So happy that this floofy little boi has become so much of a powerhouse! I mostly play OU and Cinccino can put in work. I bet it’s doing great in UU!
Cinccino is also one of my favorites! I love gen 5 designs so much, too bad so many of them are awful competitively lol, Excadrill and Volcarona are carrying gen 5s Competitive career
Oh yes, I _absolutely_ think Cinccino could find a place in higher tiers with just a little extra leverage. I'm not as sure for this generation-not as familiar with the meta-but I did play around with it some last generation, where there were, unsurprisingly, lots of popular Ice-weak Pokémon around. Actually a pretty consistent performer against many popular 'mons who were all too eager to try to get momentum immediately against a 'mon that had the potential to very much OHKO them.
I think there's a solid argument for it in OU too, a good hazard remover, and with one free turn can boost it's attack and speed, and all it's coverage, I think it has some potential. Also in Draft Leagues where all those things are hard to find? Definitely some use there
@@EvelynIsBased It's definitely just one of a long list of Pokémon that have great kits, but really just need a little bump to do what it's capable of reliably. I really hope GameFreak goes back to doling out little stat buffs to weaker Pokémon at some point. Just a little extra attack or bulk would do a lot for Cinccino.
Ambipom was arguably more important at breaking these two because it has beat up, a move that on an average team it would effectively become 100ish base power dark type move that got boosted by technician and did not make contact. You didn't even need to knock off the opposing team to start clicking 150bp+ moves thanks to this. You simply ran a choice band and attacked with no remorse. Add to the fact that the few pokemon that resist this type combo in this generation are either not bulky enough to take it like primarina or overall not that great outside of checking them like cobalion and kingambit and you know :)
Cinccino question comment: yes. It has stellar coverage and REALLY good abilities and supoort moves. Song comment: Ring Fit Adventure is completely based
I could beat up Cowboy Chien-Pao
also watch this video (featuring cowboy Duraludon): ua-cam.com/video/F_s04Tmrig8/v-deo.html
the algorithm brought me here and because it includes Cinccino, I have to watch
My Cincinno struck fear into an entire UU tournamrnt that I was in, and that I won.

It was, in fact, not doing great in UU
oh my god you completely called me out on the mega clawitzer thing
I remember looking for the mega stone as a kid for hours 😭
had to know if I was the only delusional one
So just to confirm, in this gamemode the mon keeps their base stats and types BUT must take the moves and abilities of the "donor"?
Yep :)
And they can’t use their usual moveset. So for example, Goodra-H inherits Cyclizar’s Draco Meteor and so retains the ability to use it.
Exactly this! Sorry if I didn't make that clear in the video, thank you for commenting this :)
Bro I thought i was the only one who thought clawitzer was a mega evolution
Take this engagement boss o7
Great analysis video! Thanks for uploading! Nice to see Pokemon like this getting some success!
Thank you so much this means a lot to me :)
@@EvelynIsBased Naturally. I try to show appreciation of stuff I like, & I often enjoy hearing about formats with weird rules or metas!
