Health and safety have the power to shut down the entire operation until they are satisfied that all safety laws are adhered to. The warehouse needs to be redesigned, an expensive option. Now that management have been made aware of the safety breaches they are liable to follow up on these concerns. The management staff were friendly enough and seemed to take onboard the safety concerns. Good audit.
PJ, where have you been? I was just looking for your content this morning! As a trained forklift driver at my work before retiring, you are correct in reporting that clown, forklift safety is one of the most important things in a warehouse and the easiest to kill or maim someone.
The way he drove over was unreal! The FLT driver seemed erratic and the fact he came and drove so close to his managers showed he knew he was working dangerously. How close did he get though?!?! Knobhead
Check out @ 20m13 seconds as he is going in with a 2 high pallet , looks like someone walks across the doorway walking left to right ... bad .. and if the racking system is so bad in there , it needs addressing , so its safe for all involved.. good content, and nice to see ya back PJ
I think you need to revisit this place in a couple of months time to see if they have implemented changes. Great video, and nice to see you back in action PJ.
Anyone with an once of sense would have replied along the lines of 'Oopps. Good point' and corrected his behaviour ... at least while he knew were watching. Driving 'blind' is both dangerous and stupid.
The Health and safety executive are going to love this video, it clearly shows dangerous practices of that fork life driver, management might want to have a word with him about the way he talks to members of the public. i think the police would be interested in his abusive language in public. very professional NOT. the company needs to send him of retraining course.. IT WAS INREASTING THAT HE SAID THAT THERE WAS NO ONE WITH IN THE WEARHOUSE, BUT WHERE DID THE TWO WHO CAME OVER TO SPEAK TO YOU COME FROM, THE SAME ENTRANCE HE WAS GOING BACK AND FORTH INTO. NO ONE IN THERE. YA
Well spotted PJ! I hope the forklift driver gets the retraining he needs to keep his colleagues safe. Looking forward to see which video you publish next from our day in Hull 💚
The manager that came is a RTITB in house fork lift instructor You go back there next week they will be doing the same they have done it like that for over 10 years And the lad that takes over at the end is his son Plus the FLT driver is a warehouse supervisor 😂
The maverick forklift driver must have learnt to drive in a fairground on the dodgems, his appalling attitude sums up, how he views health and safety at work. driving too fast and recklessly, no doubt he would still carry on regardless, had the HSE, (Health and Safety Executive) been watching him, and suggest a return visit is needed , as he and the company, need to take safety and risks seriously, and not disregard the safety violations, shown in your video. Thanks for a useful video, wishing yourself and DJ all the best.
I wonder what their Insurance Company, makes of this forklift driver, I can’t believe he has a current license, I am certain the Health and Safety Executive will soon visit this company.
Good to see you again PJ! You’re looking well but I hope you really are ok? Something seems like you’ve had a hard time. Great to see you again though. Take care and thanks for another interesting audit.
Generally anything over the height of the load plate on the front of the forklift you must reverse, its also common sense. LITTERALLY at 20:11 he drives toward the door double stack blind & a guy in the warehouse on foot runs across from left to right infront of the driver completely unaware shocking.
Great video PJ, I will be honest, I drove forward once with a load on and ended up wiping out a bay door. I learned my silly mistake and not had an accident since, it's not worth cutting corners on these things they can cause serious injury. Keep up the good work 👍
Great to see PJ and DJ together and right to film him breaching Health and Safety regulations and reporting him to management and needs reporting to Health and Safety Executive (HSE). As their was a near-miss that needs reporting.
Great job guys that was an accident waiting to happen i see this sort of thing going on a lot in Hull if you come again try the Sutton fields Industrial est lots going on there.
T to see management dealt with it correctly and well another hull firm showing good light for both themselves and our city. Yes the one driver definitely could do with a refresher course in both driving and public engagement as he let team and company down but by the way management seemed genuinely concerned I think the one rogue employee will be brought in line and will hopefully of learnt from it by now.
There should be some sort of a camera on these forklifts so they can see where they are going with a full load and that would negate the need to reverse but I guess that's up to the people that make them.
Welcome back and fun video! 👍 The Hull Bankside location likely constructed around 2010. In 2008 most the units in Ipark Industrial Estate were vacant parcels; estate covers 15 acres. Contractor for the buildings was Houlton Construction and is managed by LCP Management.
At 16:50, perfect timing "They dont usually, they know what we expect, toolbox talks!" In the background Mr Forklift driver driving forward double stacked. I bet the woman was watching him, thinking "You Idiot"
I know nothing about body language, but the hand on the neck and face, along with that concerned expression was saying to me: "Oh god, that forklift driver is making us look unprofessional on camera. As soon as these two go, I'm going to be having a word with him."
I always though you had to reverse a load no matter the size. I would imagine it also helps keep it more stable as weight is following the direction of movement and being supported by the forktrucks body.
Can anyone guess the forklift drivers IQ? It will probably explain his lack of vocabulary.i wouldn't leave him in charge of anything and i mean anything.
Health and Safety Directive need to be informed. That fork lift driver is extremely dangerous. A work colleague of mine was seriously hurt by a fork lift driver doing just that.
Great video safety first their good bit kit fork lift especially bendy one its good to have fresh ofeyes looking at things i was manager for 30 years shop i had to told things i just took on board got on with job i also run scout troop with 10 to 14 year old we go rounds risk assessments on every move now especially be when we out trips its life am over 60 now probably on way out not on way in all best 😅 love videos
That’s is really dumb no. Just like a dogem. And if you get hit by any yourselves and others are in dangerous situations. It reminds me of us trains that thought that had the right of way but didn’t read the instructions that a other train would be coming through. Sadly lots of people have been. And just to say i have edited my post. Good post p j.
Health and safety exec is who you need to contact if management were not interested, Forget contacting the company they will obviously cover up. Health and safety exec can investigate even if an accident has not occurred but there is a potential chance of an accident!! Not that I know the rules on fork lift driving myself. But if you know then fair enough. Managers seemed ok.
The fact he is allowed to drive with such a blasé attitude is down to the management. It only takes one moment for someone to appear in front of him whilst he can’t see shit and he has to live with the fact he has killed someone.Minimise the chances dramatically by reversing and looking in the direction of travel. It’s really not difficult.
It was great to see the company taking your advice on board .
But still looking at the fool with two loads up driving forward
and they'll do nothing about it
I think the bloke from the company was " starstruck" , but as for " listening" to either DJ or PJ, I think he was away with the fairies 🤪🤪🤪🤪

If they cant turn round in the warehouse it means the warehouse is too full!!
I think you need to revisit this place in a couple of months time to see if they have implemented changes. Great video, and nice to see you back in action PJ.
“He doesn’t normally drive like that” Yeah right, is it just today while everyone is watching Him 😂 covering up for themselves already...
@@yeldaRooBTKAM His replacement in the orange jacket did exactly the same!!
take my hat of to the company for listening, hope you pay them another visit sometime ,was nice seeing a great approach by everyone
They also shouldn't be using the same loading door to walk through either
Anyone with an once of sense would have replied along the lines of 'Oopps. Good point' and corrected his behaviour ... at least while he knew were watching.
Driving 'blind' is both dangerous and stupid.
A good forklift driver should know to drive like a saint when strangers are around .
absolutely brilliant video guys nice to see pj back

4:11 He claims to have a "clear run" but there's at least one co-worker moving about in the background.
Sounds like the warehouse needs a redesign as well. You usually design out any areas of concern or conflict.
He doesn't normally do that on the forklift...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Just shared with a friend with 35 years warehouse experience. He was horrified at the way this guy was driving the fork lift. 😕😱
How are you PJ, long time no see and I have missed you blogs.
PJ glad your back and looking really well 👍 🏴
Scary driving. Very unsafe
That guys got a hooky forklift certificate! Wonder where you get them from? 😂😂😂😂
Great one PJ and DJ...... You did the right thing there with reporting the FLT driver as he was a complete ass and not listening to friendly advice.
I see the lads of the Last of the summer wine are out together again. Lol.
Even you had to laugh at that one peter.
I have missed you PJ and is good to see you two pair up again
Great to see the dynamic duo back in action!!
I wonder what their Insurance Company, makes of this forklift driver, I can’t believe he has a current license, I am certain the Health and Safety Executive will soon visit this company.
He has a In house certificate
Pj caught dj face on camera at 20:26 😬
Good to see you again PJ! You’re looking well but I hope you really are ok? Something seems like you’ve had a hard time.
Great to see you again though. Take care and thanks for another interesting audit.
I’ve missed you PJ, happy to see you back online ❤
It's great to be back 😊😊👍👍
So gald you guys were there to stop an accident happening ❤❤❤
You did the right thing reporting him he was a danger to every one that sight.
welcome back PJ
And who's that wee raskel with u lol, best side kick ever 🛸

*literally
Nice to see you again PJ keep up the amazing videos
Instead of drivers attitude ,I think he needs retraining .Well done gents .😊
The rumours said you went to jail? Was it safe in there?
Hi guys send that video h.s.e. what a dangerous way to drive a fork lift. Great videos, thank you
Managers are both very proactive . kudos

Great to see you back PJ 😊👍👊 keep him safe DJ 🙏 tc both of you 👍 😊
Even at the end of the video after being told you can see them still doing it.
Great to see you both out together again. That wasn't "Grassing someone up" (hate that term, that was you highlighting a potential injury or death.
Welcome back PJ, you have been missed. Good video, once again.
Good to see you back pj.
Hope you and the family are well
i cant believe i have missed you two guys, here you are in my home city and i have missed you . Keep up the good work
Nice to see DJ audits in your videos again PJ AUDITS

Laurel and Hardy.of the auditors.
Any company worth their salt would sack him..full stop.
Or, at least take him off the FLTs and retrain him fully with a big black cross on his record.
@@martinbobfrank agree
22:01 ... dragging him in't office ... good.

Great to see you back with Dj

Good to see you back mate. How's your lovely dog which I saw in an old video 🐕
Fire exit blocked.

Great video !! Ooo nearly got DJ in your shot 😬
👋👋👋
Dj your a legend !! Love your content !!! I need a key ring bro !! 🙌
So the warehouse isn’t suitable for forklift use at this time.
Surely the building should have a seperate door for pedestrians.
Sounds like the whole site isn't designed correctly to do the job they are doing. They need the whole process risk assessing and re-designing 😢
If reversing with a load is difficult because of the layout, then the forklift should have a banksman
Delighted PJ & DJ ! With all your thoughtful observations…what about the fool’s speed ?
Great to see PJ out and about with you again my perennial favourites.
Welcome back PJ. I don’t know what you have been up to but you look thinner and very healthy. Suits you Sir. 🎉🎉
It's not just you can't see where you're going .. if you hit the brakes the load falls forward.
There should be some sort of a camera on these forklifts so they can see where they are going with a full load and that would negate the need to reverse but I guess that's up to the people that make them.

13:40 glad the video is up cause don't think he'll take it further will be down at the pub with the driver tonight laughing about it
You should report this to the safety authority
