- Millia's theme certainly changes (guilty) gears to throw some new flavors into the Guilty Gear soundtrack and leaves a VERY positive opinion on The Windmill!

So for Millia’s backstory, she lost both of her parents in a war and was taken in by the Assassin’s Guild by someone named Zato. She obtained cursed hair as an assassin, and tried to commit suicide multiple times as she did not want to live such a horrible life. But over time, she went from being Zato’s student to lover.
However, her guilt becomes too strong and eventually she kills Zato in revenge. After a while, Zato is resurrected and loses his memories and emotions. All that is left is an unshakable resolve to protect Millia. They meet again and are able to forgive each other.
“So carry on, love the subhuman self” means that you should live your life to be content and accept yourself as you are. You guys should also check out Zato’s theme, “Let Me Carve Your Way”!
Millia kills eddie who originally took over zato's bodie killing him in the process, so zato was dead before millia killed eddie, and eddie is the same kind of "entity" as the one that lives in millia's hair, although they're not "curses" but more of a lab experiments gone wrong, as they are living beings, "beasts" they're called or something, not sure, and they simbiotycally attach themselves, although being "living being" part makes them able to take over, which is what happened to zato and which is why eddie is also brought back to life - he's a part of zato to that point.

@@thewindmillfullovcorpses heck yeah. Also, when you mentioned Millia's clothes that she wears a Soviet kinda like uniform, in the lore, she IS Russian. So technically, you're correct.
She's the direct competitor to Sephiroth
Millia didn't exactly grew up in a good environment and has a lot of regret when she was an assassin so in the current title she is coming to terms with herself and learns to truly love the herself from deep inside.

This song is the only reason I mained Millia. Someone on an Xrd video said that "Lily of Steel" fits her playstyle perfectly, so I listened to this and loved the song so I assumed I'd like Millia.

I resonate with this song; it took me decades to realize that despite who and what I am, I, too, am worthy of love, even if I can only see a monster in the mirror. Maybe, just maybe, I am not the creature I believed myself to be. It gives me hope, when I thought hope was denied.
I like the idea that, at least to some degree, you decide what creature you are! And even if you have regrets or you've done some bad things, the self-punishing approach only makes things worse. I know, been there done that. /Andrei

For now we're sticking to character themes but yes we are open to instrumental music and will probably end up doing some of Xrs OST as well! / George
