Lenny is the guy who gets Denis going. How perfect is it that they start the Mel Gibson thing and then Youklis pulls off two nice plays? This is pure gold. And hey, we could all do well living by Lenny's rule: you treat me good, I'll treat you better. Excellent press box moment.
Between this and the "PIZZA" moment which was amazingly on the news recently....I really hope this gets around to more people because it always puts a smile on my face.
These guys are what's great about Boston 😂 Loved watching Remy play..Seeing Lenny Clarke @ the Ding Ho. But most of all the laughter that they've given us🤩👏👏. RIP RemDawg.🙏❤😔.fought a great battle..gave us so much👏🤩
This has got to be the best of the best of Don and Jerry. I was watching this game live that night and I thought I was going to die laughing. Jerry was laughing so hard his eyes were just slits in his head and he literally could not speak. I remember thinking, man oh man they're gonna get letters about this. T'was a beauteous thing. I shared it a lot, then it disappeared from the 'net for awhile, so thanks for rescuing this amazing clip.
Watching this in May "2023". Still funny af. I can't with the Mel Gibson jabs. Kevin Youkilis they loved u playin 3rd base...Miss u Don Orsillo & R.I.P. Jerry Remy..you 2 we're "The Best"...😂😁🏟️⚾💞
that is something that all of us are wondering. NESN never did fully explain themselves; evidently it's because they wanted to "re-energize" the game... like it wasn't already energized with his laughter and what not.
Comedy gold. Whenever i want to make my sister laugh i do a Mel Gibson phone call to his girlfriend that she leaked- “ i hope you get **** by a pack …” . I saw MG sitting in the crowd at the Will Smith Oscars and he had the look of its not me this time😊😅😂
rest in Peace Jerry Remy
Was this 2006???
I miss Orsillo so much. He’s the fn best.

I remember watching this game like it was yesterday and I don't think I can ever recall laughing as hard as I did that night, absolutely classic!

RIP Jerry! Red Sox Nation loves you! ❤️
All time moment on NESN. I almost pissed myself watching this live
The timing and serendipity of the events on the field were just perfect. It's as if it were scripted.
This is NEVER going to stop being hysterical!
Remdawg & Orsillo gave me years and years of pleasure….making great Sox years even better……..RIP Jerry 🙏 How’s San Diego Don. Miss you both 🤭🙏✌️

This clip, pizzagate, and the Red Sox Mastercard parody commercial from 2004 are the best.
Remy and Don - the BEST commentators in all of sports! THe chemistry they had was second to none. LOVED listening to them.

“Where’s Mel Gibson Now?” It’s also a takeoff on Edward G. Robinson’s line in “The Ten Commandments”: “Where’s your Messiah now?”

What year was this? This is fucking hilarious
Sandro Bruni 2006
2006 it was shortly after “the Passion of the Christ” and Mel Gibson’s drunk rant
Rumor in Boston is he's coming back to replace Remy
