Great painting! It totally highlights the striking contrast between bright stage and the dancers backstage (it’s interesting to see lighting from this angle)! Also, you do a very good job making the colors harmonious throughout, despite the large differences in brightness in the painting.

Question: can I do background with pan pastel and then the main picture with oil pastels?
I don’t have pan pastels so I’ve never used them together. But I think it will give you some advantage and joy! 🤩👍🏻
