Love the thought processes (processi?) that this format creates for deck building and everyone’s different approach to it. Thanks for giving us the insight into Spidz UA-cam brain when approaching these challenges

Slight correction: in the first game Sleys hand was 3x Kayn 2x aatrox, doesn't change a whole lot of the analysis but it is important to note there would not be massive amounts of deathbringers sweep

22:55 "Now, obviously if you draw too many of the same cards, your food is gonna be very bland." Please spidz don't eat your cards

You’ve not played enough poro king - eating cards is the whole point!

I think Sley needed to keep RKD if it was an option. Having it + any weapon is one of the few ways to try and force tempo back in your favour when you're on evens token. Kayn is better on odds though.

After watching the vid I think the main important takeaway from the matches is that yeah the concession in game 1 was def premature. Aside from the fact I've def won Kayntrox games where I had literally unplayable hands for the first three turns, you can always play towards your opponent's hand being equally as bad (in this case hoping they never draw CS) and hoping to spike a comeback from that fact.
With regards to the Buhru attack it's pretty funny because at first glance it's easy to call it a misplay in one second and call it a day, but I feel like calling it a mistake instantly isn't quite right and has a bit more nuance than that. With absolute knowledge of both hands because that Buhru Cultist is pretty much an impromptu nexus for the early game, and if she dies you're immensely upset. However you can make the argument that if you just open pass with Buhru Cultist you pretty much instantly give the game away that your hand is absolutely unplayable and that gives you the signal to develop for free without retailaition, which also isn't ideal since you don't want to get out-wided. So with the (relatively) safe assumption that Lucian never blocks you go back into the idea of "oh yeah I don't give away free knowledge of having a bad hand and I get 2 free damage", but ultimately with all of those thoughts in mind, 2 free damage doesn't really matter with what the matchup demands (since you're not racing the swarm deck you're surviving and fighting for board) and the opponent is going to find out the action after that combat that your hand is unplayable still. Then on top of that you can still play towards the top of the deck on round 4 (the main highlight being R3 defensive momentous for an open attack really (or any equipment after the open), and thinking two rounds ahead you can draw an equipment for the makeshift Nexus that is your Buhru Cultist. All of this long winded wall of text paragraph to say is that while it's wrong to call the Buhru attack incorrect after only looking for a second, it's still correct to call it an unfortunate misplay after spending more than a bit of time thinking about it.
tl;dr: Even with any misplays one may make early in a game, it's always too early to surrender, especially in a long season like this!
