I’m so happy for Mary-Kate and Ashley for their ability to take the slow approach to realise their magnificent vision without losing the business edge. It takes great restraint, patience and bravery to hold on to what one wants to create in a world filled with distractions, temptations, and upheaval (the sheer trajectory of emerging out of near-bankruptcy during pandemic and reaching today’s status is phenomenal). And as a woman who ran her own business in the past, I absolutely see the genius in them. So inspiring. Thanks for your beautiful reporting, Mary!
I still remember running into Mary Kate in 2014 when she was opening up their first store on Melrose Place in California. That design aesthetic fit just perfectly into the quaintness of Melrose Place Such an informative video thank you for the reporting
Thank you for this enlightening video. The decor is beautifully understated and the Art Deco/modern furniture is exquisite -- carefully selected and thoughtful. This suddenly adds so much depth to my understanding of The Row.
I have mixed feelings about this… and it’s not the stunning interiors of Paris boutique I’m talking about. Since we have heard about latest investments in The Row from Chanel etc… I’m so afraid that very soon this minimal brand and everything it stand for will turn into commercial chaos, endless price increases and quality issues! I hope I’m wrong because I really like The Row.
I LOVED this video so much, It's incredible the connection fashion, decor and architecture can have and beyond that! You could make this type of video a constant in the channel, I'd love to hear your opinion on the Totame Boutique!
Looks gorg! very well done and curated. Wouldn't expect anything else. One thing I will say that maybe is a bit off topic, both times I have visited the Row London store and NY store i was SO thrown off by the customer service. In general the staff were very rude, not just in a funny fashion way, but in a legitimate off putting way. I have heard similar things from many other people as well. Not sure if this is a strategy but I think in today's day and age it is very unluxury like to be treated like shit as a shopper. In fact I was with someone who was looking to buy many items, and decided not to based on how we were treated. Looks up and down, one word responses when asked about stock, and unwillingness to help. I was actually very disappointed (I asked for a specific pair of shoes in my size, and the response was "no" with a very sarcastic smile). I hope this changes! Important to not only have a strong retail presence, but a strong smart team to support it.
have you been to any of the The Row stores? I like the store space on Melrose they have a water fountain, I like your videos on the Olsens. My only thing I wish the Olsens would do is phase out all fur from their stores and their own lives and INSTEAD replace it with turkey feather garments, which are actually even more glam than fur and ethical. I love marabou/turkey feather garments
It’s very beautiful design. I just don’t know if the timing is right. The world is going into recession, well we would be already, if not an election time, here, in US lol US dollar is about to experience major drop, will affect US and countries, who are attached to it…. Thé bullied agreement “ oil has to be bought in US dollars, is. about to expire, and it’s not going to be renewed . Brics is changing everything . So dollar becomes not needed…. 😳😱 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

Wow! What an enchanting store!
💕 Thanks as always Mary. Always look forward to your updates especially the The Row. So much inspiration. 💕🌹
Such a killer space! As you mentioned, wonderful articulation of their brand ethos.
your videos make me appreciate fashion and design on another level. I really enjoy your videos :)
Most of the furniture is for sale in their stores (and the art) - its STUNNING
Their interiors are so clinical and I live 🥰
such a kool video...pls do make more of such.

I am curious with the desire of exclusivity that The Row has -- why expand?

Thanks for this video. I absolutely love the arched stone walkway❤ Anyone know what the stone is called?
love this channel, so chic and edgy
Swoon… that’s all I have to say 🖤
This is where the Chanel and L'Oreal money went to 💅🏻

If they’ll be working for Chanel, this will be a good way for them to manage both brands. Sorry, I’m hoping this is happening😂
