Idt I've ever heard a dog kennel as quiet as this one. The dogs are all content...u don't see them climbing and jumping gall over each other. No fiting or biting..no growling or snarling at each other. They're happy, n healthy well rounded dogs living IN A DOG KENNEL!🤯😳I've never seen that bfor
Let me tell you something about huskies. My family has two of them, both from that exact husky park. We have a dog pen that's about three times the size of the pens that you see here, yet they only use a part of it that's slightly smaller than these pens. They don't really care about the rest of that empty space, since their actual exercise is done during the walks. The rest of their time goes by napping away. >_>
Think wolves in the nature also have just a small hole in the ground as their nest, then hunting they go miles to find food. Huskies live close to that.
Does anybody no of husky bark or not? I heard they don't bark?? Then I saw one barking😳was that one just an exception? Or do these dogs bark?lol idk if they do or not
Nice and high quality video..thanks for that...P.S. Those wild blueberries are bigger and more juicy if you travel in Middle- or South Finland... one you ate looked terrible :)
I intend visiting Finland but I'm not quite sure what time of year. Winter is not my favorite time of year,so I'm debating in my mind whether to go in the Spring or the Fall.
Thank you for this video. Just as winter isn't quite started here in Finland, and everything is grey, cold and still, it is great to watch some beautiful summery images. All though i do find autumn beautiful too, in all it's ruggedness.
Depends on which part of Finland you live. Week ago we had almost 40 cm of snow and -7°C in here Kainuu region. Its been like a real winter here over a month, but now we have + celsius and it's raining water. Only about 20 cm of snow right now.
Not trying to spoil the fun, but the red poles marking the Arctic Circle is just for a show. The real Arctic Circle goes past about one kilometer north from the Santa's Village. The Circle moves around about a dozen meters yearly anyway, so every marked line or signs for the Circle is just an approximation.
You Did Real Well ! You were on Good Mood - and that Helps to watch & listen - everything You Do / say ! I am Glad that You enjoyed Finland & shared This with Us !
Wow quality stuff! Yeah the Lapland huskies rest in summer, in winter they are busy working with the tourists. One thing, 13:42 the languages are Finnish and Swedish, not Norwegian ;)
Turkuis older, but don't know hw much they've kept of the oldest buildings - is it just the castle :) So maybe Rauma is older in the average, but the castle in Turku is older by centuries than the old Rauma.
Hey brother!!so grade to see your vlog I'm from nepal what you think is the finland good for medical student? And will you please suggest me the things I should do to be there? I need education information about Finland 😌
Yes, after I was told that it wasn't even that salty compared to the other stuff you can buy! I'll just keep having to eat it and change my taste buds. Can definitely see it growing on me that's for sure 😊
I’m going to finland in summer for 2 weeks, can someone recommend me things that i have to see and what’s the best way to travel around? I’m really looking forward!
@@johnbroadley535 oh, when you were to luostarimäki, the oldest buildings in Turku, reason they being oldest are because they were the few spared from the great fire of turku in 1827, which pretty much burned down the whole town.
11:32 The reindeers are not wild - notice this white one has a bell around the neck, and reindeer owners would know from its earmarks who owns it. Though they do move around free until the time the owners herd them into fences, count the young ones, decide which ones are taken for food or hides etc. Even the bones are your, and I'm not sure what they do with the entrails, but dogs would love them. The owners can track them down pretty easy, because in the wild they have certain rhythm whereabouts they roughly are moving, depending on the time of year. It could also be nowadays, that they have a satellite tracker at their neck: at least one in the herd. Look at the plastic tube the white one has - think there's the tracker, plus maybe something else.
John Broadbean yeah, the same animals are called caribou in Canada. There they are wild but in Finland they’re semi-domesticated. They both live free. Here they have owners
Lesson Two: To pronounce ANY Finnish word or name correctly, first break it into syllables and put the stress on the first syllable and ever decreasing emphasis on each of the following syllables. A syllable boundary comes before each consonant, except when two consonants come together, in which case it is between the consonants. So Rovaniemi IS pronounced as RO.va.nie.mi and not as I heard it ro.van.mi. The syllable NIE contains the dipthong IE (a vowel made up of two different vowels... you make the i sound and the e sound separately but run them into one another, just as we do with the English word pIEr). Helsinki is pronounced as HEL.sin.ki and Turku as TUR.ku (with each u in Finnish standard pronunciatuon sounding like a shortened version of the oo sound in the English word POO).
Thanks for the info! Pronounciation is certainly not one of my strongest points! I think i tried to pronounce it a different way each time in the hopes that if would have been right at least once :). Hope you enjoyed the video!
2:27 Rovaniemi - UK English can say it like 'ROvahNearme' (RO strong, Near gets secondary strength - and without an audible r). Now you blurred It to Rovanimi (nimi = name) :)
I'm just back from trip in Finland as well and this video gave me so many nice memories :) We got to see and feed huskies as well, btw. I also did a cinematic video there so feel free to watch it ua-cam.com/video/ZteFQztjgTc/v-deo.html :)
I'm Norwegian, but yearn to visit this neighbor of mine some day
Thumbs up if you've ever taken a dip in an ice-cold Finnish lake after a sauna!

Sorry, I meant Swedish 😥. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the video though!
@@johnbroadley535 Sometimes some of the Swedish dialects in Finland might be reminiscent of Norwegian. Still Swedish though.
That was great. Thank you.

Great place to travel and awesome place to walk as well. Great work.
Thank you! 🙌

Finnish education is top class and for the price it's a steal, so why not?
Are you sure they speak norwegian in Åland? 😁
That particular salty liquorice is not really that salty. It needs to grow on you, but when it does you cannot live without salmiakki. :D

Lesson One. How to pronounce Helsinki. The emphasis is on HEL not SINKI.
In the Archipelago they speak SWEDISH, NOT NOTWEGIAN, AND FINNISH!!
