- After a wet surprise while cutting hay last week, we stressed all weekend trying to get our hay dried out enough to harvest on Monday.
The weekend was less than ideal for hay drying, but come Monday, the sun came out, the wind picked up and our hay ended up being PERFECT! (meaning no breakdowns lol)
BUT... there was ONE big thing that completely changed the game for hay... and Ethan once again is the one to thank for this.
He's switching all his PTO's (which I loathe) to hydraulics... and they are SO MUCH BETTER!!!

You can reach out to the company directly and demand they remove your design from their website as you didn't give them permission to use your designs. Im not sure what Canadian laws are on who you can reach out to, but I'd look into it. I'd also let your artist friend know.
I wanted to tell people what I noticed. Between Facebook and Instagram and their algorithms, they keep ripping off my pictures of fine sugar flower work, cake designs, diy jewelry, sweater designs etc. I’m an artist and use social media for ideas and inspiration, but when I get my ideas stolen before I can even get my work watermarked or copyrighted that is frustrating! What’s more, it’s done by bots and trolls! Sandi is not alone in her frustration… but it doesn’t make it any less upsetting!
Speaking of birds... Do you ever worry about avian flu or any other diseases that can be carried by birds? Are the birds actually good for the ecology of the barn? They are deafening some days. It would drive me CRAZY!

I’m so sorry that your designs are yet another victim of the unscrupulous retailers out there. I do t know who is doing it although I can probably give some good guesses (Temu, I’m looking at you). I am a demonstrator for an arts and crafts company that sells paper crafting supplies and their original designs are stolen all the time, again Temu, you know you are doing this. The problem is that people keep buying it even when they know it is stolen art. Keep on reminding everyone to only buy from your site and if it being sold elsewhere it is stolen and it is usually a VERY inferior product. If you can put a note on your sales site that it is the only authorized retailer for your product and if they find it elsewhere it is stolen that might help. Just keep beating that drum and hopefully that will help. You can also ask people to report any findings to you. Again, so sorry that is happening.
Just about every UA-camr that sells merch has fake channels that pop up and rip people off. Anyone purchasing merch, needs to be sure it’s a legitimate channel.

Is that wild grape or porcelainberry growing in your building? If its porcelainberry, do NOT leave it long enough to fruit - the stuff TAKES OVER in NO TIME AT ALL and the only thing that can clear it is serious herbicides. Cut it out, treat the stump with herbicide and watch to make sure it doesn't re-sprout from the stumps. Voice of bitter experience.
You need to put the Sheepishly Me water mark across every stock photo on your website. That way they cannot duplicate the design. We had to do that with our designs when we went to selling online.
I used to do vending shows, lots of work, but so much fun.

Copy right infringement, my sons friend, who is a photographer, took some action shots of my son skateboarding, one of the shots was so cool, he posted it for sale on his business website and a magazine printed it in an article (they paid for use).
If a bird can unplug the machine, I think I'd be replacing the outlet. Sounds like it doesn't have enough spring tension.
Fun way to exercise Miss Piper and whomever is the pilot. Pilot has some skills keeping it just out of reach. Easily enough to see Piper was having a blast. Congratulations on finishing hay.
