The idea that people can't wrap their head around the idea that Kurt Cobain wanted to kill himself and abdicate all of his life responsibilities to his wife, daughter, record label, bandmates and so on is mind boggling. 99% of Nirvana fans hate Courtney Love and act as if Kurt could do no wrong because they deify Kurt but the reality is, none of you have the slightest idea about the dynamics of a marriage you know nothing about. If Courtney wanted to divorce Kurt because he couldn't turn his life around for their daughter's sake, there is no reason for anyone to demonize that. Grown ups make grown up decisions.
