  • Are we alone in the universe? In recent years, ETH Zurich has become one of the most renowned centres in the world for researching these matters: Nobel Prize winner Didier Queloz has headed the new Centre for Origin and Prevalence of Life (COPL) since autumn 2022, and former NASA research head Thomas Zurbuchen has been the Director of ETH Zurich Space since summer 2023.

I recognise this music, melodysheep definetly was a superb joice for this video. Also love to see ETH more actively embrace it's role in space research!

30 years ago we found the first planet traveling around another star. But how long before that was there a very strong feeling that each star could have a set of planets?

What would change for us if there was life on another planet? Nothing!

Thank You: I strongly ❤ believe that the cosmos is very abundant with SUPER intelligent LIFE beyond our current understanding. To truly grasp this, we must let go of the assumption that advanced beings must mirror us. WHAT IF super intelligence takes forms that construct civilizations surpassing ours in every conceivable aspect, while looking vastly different and notably more benevolent? How can we, with our limited human minds, even BEGIN to comprehend the incomprehensible?

There is no such thing like 'life', sorry. People will be very surprised that they have to go.
