Shows almost everything. When I choose what activity I want to do while following the selected course, will I be able to see the normal data screens which I have programmed for that activity app that I chose?

Hi great video! I have a question concerning interval training on treadmill.
Let's say you wanna do 1km and rest for 2 minutes for X times.
So you start and you finish the first km but the watch still says 0.8km for example.
Can you tell the watch you have done 1 km and you need to rest ?
I have a tomtom runner 2 and you can't do that.

There are 3 options:
1. Buy a foot pod. It is more accurate.
2. Don't use the autolap and hit lap button every time according to the real distance.
3. If you can't remember what are the steps, use workout and the lap button to continue.

Hi again. I'm having hard time deciding between the fenix 3 hr and the fenix 3 Sapphire. Do you find the hr optical sensor comfortable to wear as a daily watch? Just want to make sure it's not putting to much pressure on your wrist while wearing a whole day. Also how accurate is the optical sensor? Thank you for all your help!

Their is no problem to wear it all day. For quality training as interval, it is not accurate. For all other types of training it is accurate.

It should. Both watches are working with ant+ (Ambit 3 is working with Bluetooth), but it should be verified first.
How long does the battery last with the map on the screen like that?
Also, do you know if there is a way to create a waypoint on smart phone then transfer it to the watch while out in the field without a computer?

My longest use with map was 4.5 hours. I assume that using the map will shift the gps to 1 second interval for accuracy. Therefore I think it will take ~12 hours total.

I have a Fenix 3 HR and I just bought my 1st Suunto the build is different and just everything on the Suunto is nicer even though it has no color it seems to be more accurate. So I am selliing my Fenix HR if you want to buy it let me know. I am keeping my Suunto for sure...

I do not understand. There is not normal map like a normal gps navigator. It looks strange. How to use it to find the way?
its not a navigation watch per say
when u use navigation its only shows u the direction and your location on the track itself but not the area around..
thats why you cant navigate with it on the trail unless you had set the course and uploaded it to the watch b4 the activity
i had done that with my fenix 3 for 75km ride and it works well enough

A real map is in Garmin Fenix 5x is not supported on Fenix 3 hr.

can I create a gpx file on computer with track map and with usu a garmin connect account on computer put n this file and synchrowith watch?:) easiest way like connect with cable and looking for a folder:)
If the track map can export the file as gpx you can import it

+stanciu gabi depends for what. For iron man, you need to change setting
if i go 20h with gps open.....its bad.maybe have some extra battery....or somenthing

thanks for your video, I am going to get it for present, so could you explain the principal functional difference between this devisce and ordinary samsung smartphone, for example, this device has gps tracking functions, smartphone has the same functions + real detailed map, map of this device is a B Sh at least....)))) you can also get special portable transducers to monitor heart activity and sync it with the phone, offcourse it is not able to work underwater and this watch is) I am not hater at all, I like this watch, and I want to present it to my brother-sportsman, at the same time it's better to be sure that this one will be useful for a man having the latest samsung phone

This is a sport watch. Using the smart phone you can't see in real time parameters as pace.
